abandoned car
The previous owner would also need to sign the slip on the logbook, the best thing to do is to try and contact the owner, get the reg and get a HPI check or PNC, you might have to pay a few quid, but better than just taking it and later down the rod regretting it as Craig suggested.

Idling issues
Im just wondering if you have a vac leak, it will affect the idle and overall running so adjusting the idle probably wont help as it cant compensate for the air escaping. If you want to drop it to me one day, i can run you to work and have a good look over it for you. I know how frustrating it can be when its not running right. Cheers Graham

Light weight pulley
A few pounds lighter than oem, but unless you have other lightened mods, like prop/flywheel/water pump pulley etc, you probably wont notice much difference on its own although saving a few pounds off through the crank can only be a good thing. I have lightened one piece prop/flywheel, water pump pulley and lightened crank pulley and on my NA its definitley more spritely than it was before, but it was also an auto before, so going manual has helped.

- silly question which are the "Front Pipe Water Hoses"
There are 2 small pipes/hoses that connect from the water pipes in front of the cam cover to the block.- Thinking of selling up
You know you wont be able to let her go, youve put too much much time and money into her, now sell your other toys for a sensible ride and keep the zed:wink:- Account Passwords and Security

Murt have a look at the currently active users at the bottom of the bulletin board and page 2 on wards you will see the IP addresses- JDM Autobox change enternity
The oil and strainer should be cleaned at almost the same interval as the engine oil, as its getting on in age now and will collect debris and sludge from around the box. As it also works under line pressures, the increased chances of blockage problems is also possible, which will affect the box efficiency. To set the TPS correctly, run the engine upto temp and at closed throttle you want to see 0.44v and WOT 4v, an incorrectly TPS will affect gear changes on an auto.- Speedo question...
A set of clocks from a UK car help with the speed restriction, but ultimately you want to end up with a chipped ECU, which will raise the restricted rev limit. 180mph on the UK clocks 180km on the jap. To de restrict on jap clocks you will need a km to mph convertor, it tricks the ecu into thinking its going slower than it is, but can also affect power steering/hicas.- 300zx rear light panel
