  1. I would personally change to TT calipers and discs, makes life so much easier to replace in the future. Also rears are the same for TT and N/A.

  3. Possible pad/shim movement, in the past under heavy braking or reverse then brake ive felt the pad or something move. New pins stopped it, must have had too much play in the old ones. I didnt have a judder though, so may be a bush.
  4. Nothing wrong with having the footwells lit :xxx:
  5. That should straighten out, cant see what the problem is
  6. I like it alot Andy and although you showed me the new led lights a while ago, which i thought looked stunning compared to the older style like mine, i wasnt sure how it would look with the carbon panel, i know you had a few issues with the guys who made it, but has come together really well, look forward to seeing them in the flesh. The Towing eyes look great too
  7. I think you are only asking someone to touch the car by putting that in the window. You know what some dickheads are like, they will see that as a challenge lol
  8. Dash removal http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?117004-Dash-removal Speedo fix http://pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.321
  9. The gearbox ecu not the main ecu. How will an auto work in a manual car without an autobox ecu?
  10. Autobox ECU if you havent already got one.
  11. Thats unreal, especially as we have had a really nice warm day down south.
  12. Thats a shame mate, would have been a double bubble for you lol. Mind you i bet he felt a million dollars turning up in that.
  13. Nice one Jnr, all grown up and ready to start planning your future no doubt. Who drove the Lambo?
  14. Thats a toughie mate, but only you can decide whats best for you.
  15. There are quite a few places in the country hit really bad over the last few weeks, it reminds me of the floods here a few years ago in June 2007 i think, i was on my way to Brize Norton, which is less than 2 hours from Portsmouth, we never made it and the round trip took over 12 hours the roads and flooding were horrendous.
  16. I had the blaupunkt, wasnt a bad unit, but wouldnt fit under the seat, although with the back casing off, may have done. I went a different route and sold it on.
  17. Ps sensor senses the load, so if its duff, it will be assuming you are going really fast and stiffen up lol. Have you taken the pipes off at any point and blocked them to stop the fluid leaking? I had a similar episode where i had accidentally left paper towel stuffed in the pipe. The clunking is normal when it reaches its farthest point, but you wont notice it when driving, only stationary.
  18. Have you checked the PS sensor on the rack? Air in tyres? UV on the steering shaft?
  19. The sensor or the loom to it. you can do a resistor mod, which tricks the ecu into thinking its working.
  20. Hi Chris, hats off to you for posting, communication is key though, although you had alot going on in your life, burying your head in the sand is not the answer. Im sure a few of us have been there at some point in our lives, but everyone deals with lifes tragedies in different ways i guess. You would have had so much support here, had you informed someone of what was happening, obviously criticism was based on you disappearing with members parts/money, but hopefully now you can get that rectified, move forward and get your life back on track. Cheers Graham
  21. Precat is before the cat, just off the turbo, rather than further under the car. You dont need cats on the zed, although 2 things to remember, if your turbo seals are not healthy, then theres a chance you can blow the seals at some point with the extra flow and extra noise. The cats act as a silencer too lol.
  22. Not a stupid question at all Ryan and probably quite confusing. Your exhaust system consists of manifolds/headers, precat on left downpipe ( UK only) down pipes which incorporate the catalytic convertors, centre H or X pipe to the rear silencers. Catback systems are 2 parts, H or Xpipe from the cats to the rear boxes. If you decat ie eliminate the cats, then 3 parts consisting of the first two, plus down pipes, with or without silencer. Most after market systems are designed for the LWB unless stated otherwise. Manifolds and downpipes are the same for the SWB. hth
