  1. Makes sense to change the cambelt if the water pump is being changed, well done Zedworld.
  2. Should be the same for both iirc, its only the hicas connections and pot that differ.
  3. This may help http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_images/Odometer%20Repair.pdf
  4. Did they refit both shims per side of the pads on each caliper and the shim/caliper retaining clips x 4 per caliper. Sometime the pins that retain the pads and spring become worn and the pads can move slightly, might be time to get a new shim kit. Check this link http://www.ttzd.com/tech/brakestech.html
  5. Two little motors on the bottom of the washer tank front drivers side.
  6. Im pretty sure Lee that if your rear washer is working, it is on the same circuit as the front. Both washer pumps are in the same bottle on a lwb, so i would try accessing them through the indicator lens and see if a wire is off or plug corroded. If you have enough room, try swapping the rear pump for the front and go from there. I dont think there is one fuse just for the front washers, HTH
  7. I agree, get a new shell, strip everything you want to keep and scrap it. There is enough work to do on a project, without having to virtually rebuild all the bad metal. If the body is that bad, i would suspect it goes alot deeper too. Save yourself the heartache effort and expense and enjoy building up a new one.
  8. Thats good, im sure he will be able to sort it. It sounds like a wire or plug or an earth has been dislodged/disconnected. Although the hole for the stereo appears big, its surprising how little room there is once all the wires and connectors are behind there lol.
  9. Did it all work before you swapped the headunit?
  10. I personally would look for something bigger to pull the trailer, however regarding pulling a trailer on your license, depending on your age, especially your dads maybe he will old mans privileges and will be marked on the license under categories.
  11. If its not a fuse, then likely a short somewhere. A common place is the relay board in the footwell behind the fuse box. For the aircon, check the connectors on the aircon ecu, its a black box above the tunnel next to the clutch. Check the mirror switch plug too, if your centre console has been out recently theres a chance its not in fully.

  13. Before you start removing the cover again, run your finger under the back of the solenoid and see if you can feel the oil.
  14. Right, when you say rocker covers are a few weeks old! did you replace the rubber gasket on the inlet rocker and renewed sealant on the ex cover? Looks like you have an oil leak out the back of the vvt solenoid or around it.
  15. So its oily water  I would double check the turbo feeds, although they were replaced, might need a nip up, as they are under great pressure, even a seep is enough.
  16. Might narrow it down a bit of you say what substance youve found to have leaked lol, oil, water?

  18. The trouble with some primers is that they are porous, so would not keep out water moisture say weeks ahead of the main basecoat. Mine has been in two lots of primer in the past two years, but will be re primed before base coat at the same time. Spray cans dont have a wide enough spray pattern or depth of paint/layer as a spray gun has and you will see streaks in a larger panel. Weigh up the cost of rattler cans compared to paint and i think you will find you are better off putting the money towards the final respray. Mikey Bean bought some satin black cans cheap and has sprayed his till he eventually gets round to doing it properly lol
  19. Depends on the type of paint the bodyshop use, if you are using a rattle can and the garage use 2k then it would need rubbing down past the primer and re painted. If you have a bodyshop in mind, speak to them first and they will advise you , although i suspect to guarantee a good finish, they will want to prime it.
  20. Its there to take the hits of a ramp or sleeping policeman rather than the gearbox lol
  21. Welcome to the club. Im liking the wheels on the zenki, any more pics?
  22. Thats great mate, so all your niggles sorted now?
  23. I concur entirely with that statement, if you have a great Barrister who can talk the talk, chances are most people would get off or have a lighter sentence, you have a below par Barrister or one who is in the pocket of prosecution even if you are innocent then you are stuffed. In a lot of cases, not all, you are at the mercy of the jury, who may have no forensic knowledge or know the jargon, but take the word of a so called expert. What really defines an expert anyway? just because someone has trained in their field and had experience, it doesnt make them infallible.
  24. I shudder to think though, where we would stand now if we had the euro, doesnt bear thinking about really lol
