1. No just the roof, still going yellow for the rest of the car, going to have to leave the engine bay till after JAE for colour as i wont get time. I didnt realise just how much prep was still needed to the body after being in the old primer for so long. Also my 99 spec lip arrived today, so got to get that fitted now too.
2. I thought about wrapping it, but as part of the roof was the old yellow, it would look silly when i take the roof off. Priming the rest of the car tomorrow, ready for sunday, then i have 3 days before JAE for the colour ( fingers crossed)
3. Update.... Today i painted the roof black, not too bad, but will be even better once flatted and mopped.
4. The bulbs are T5 , but come with the bulb holder, i have a hundreds that i have from doing pod conversions, PM your address i will stick a load in the post for you. If the bulb holders are no good for whatever reason, its real simple to undo the wire tails and place in the new one.
5. Ill be fine, wont poo pant or bring up me breakfast, but i will bring a camera ( discreetly) Maybe, if allowed:shifty:
6. Spam is automatically banned, Thats not why we do it that way, We would need your full name and address and email details, to enable you to receive the welcome pack. If one of the Glasgow guys can meet up with you and verify who you are then, shouldnt be a problem. As i said bank transfer is real simple too. Im not trying to be awkward, just cautious and make sure its done in the correct manner.
7. Needs to be done, with a trace for identity, we may get a banned member trying to resub under an assumed name, hence the way its done as per membership thread.
8. You can send a cheque or do a bank transfer, Western union is a no, no lol
9. :xxx::xxx: ha fooking ha, i may be getting older but, im in shape................... Round is a shape :laugh:
10. Well done Vijay, its a long arsed boring job isnt it
11. OOOH very nice, looking forward to it, booked my ferry for 4am, so should be there to meet up with the rest near Silverstone around 7:15- 7:30am:thumbup: Ive borrowed my brothers motorbike helmet, which has a BS standard sticker on it, are they likely to check?
12. Ready for new primer tomorrow and bought the yellow paint today, spent £176 on paint and extra fast hardner, 99 spec lip will hopefully be here on friday, then get to work on repairing split in said bumper and fit the lip.
13. Things i should have done lol, list far too long
14. Ive been with Orange for over 15 years and started off on contract. Apart from getting a free upgrade or phone if lost or stolen, i decided that a contract is pointless if you dont use it to full capacity. I used to pay £30 per month, then added my other half at the time, the monthly cost then doubled, ( sounds obvious) but wasnt supposed to be the way. So i thought sod it, im going pay as you go and will never get a contract again. I pay £10-£15 a month on Dolphin, i use texts mostly so Dolphin suits me and i have a samsung Tocca lite, dont bother with music video or internet with the phone, so for me i just want basic and therefore pay less. I find the more a phone can do, the more can go wrong and also the cost is usually higher, but there are some good deals to be had. I stuck with orange so have kept the same number for years. Like alot of people i carried away with the latest and best and must haves, then i woke up and cut it all down. Got rid of Sky, mobile phone contract and anything else i deem to be a waste of money or something i can live without.
15. Happy Birthday Bazz, have a great day
16. Hi Ruthie and welcome to the club, please be aware that you need to be subscribed to be able to sell on the forums. Cheers Graham
17. The bearing should be tight, when you push in with a screwdriver etc, shouldnt rattle, so i would say they are fubarred and the restrictor as Ian said
18. Gobbler : eats your cash and fuel  Zippy Zedward Growler, cos of the noise, not the fanny driving it  Zexy Mine gets called a banana or the old Datsun, but i dont care:punk:
19. Happy Birthday Ian, have a great day
20. But they will push out the wheel another 1.25" on the et of the wheels may not be ideal and i dont know the reserve on the rims yet, he may want silly money.
21. They are 5x112 and a 66.6 bore, i did say to him they would fit with adapted hubcentric spacers, im not sure i want to go down that route. Just looking for some wheels to replace mine to get them refurbed
22. Its all a bloody lottery, i live in whats deemed a safe area and have to cut out all the legal cover nonsense etc to keep it down for the zed. Bare in mind i paid around £300 7 years ago fully comp and this year they were wanting over £500, i ended up at £400, still reeling really as i should have just gone somewhere else.
23. I was going to bid on these and have been in conversation with the seller through mail several times. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150886140473?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 They are 19" and not 18 as stated, but after asking about the pcd and bore, he put up the last pic and confirmed to me that they wont fit the zed, such a shame as they would have looked pretty cool. I suggested he change the heading of the sale as he will have a problem under false advertising. Also he is going away for two months to Germany on thurs, so any buyer would have no chance of sorting it out after
24. The auto box is wider, due to the sump, some down pipes fit without any issues and some dont, need to bend or hammer it, using heat will make it easier, although without a pipe bender wont be that easy anyway.
25. I thought you said running and mispelt it
