  1. When will u celebrate having the car on the road for a year?
  2. If you know the file, you should be able to go to it and change its attributes so that it can be deleted. Or, trying sending it to 'A' drive and then format the floppy. Heh, heh - that'll fix the b*gg*r.
  3. You mean kazaa but winmx is better and safer.
  4. Do you have AVG anti-virus running? If not, get it - it's free! Get secureie from http://www.secureie.com Have you tried secureclean from http://www.whitecanyon.com?
  5. I cannot believe that anyone falls for these. Lloyds-TSB just put out warning too.
  6. of Steeleye Span? Maddy Priors' voice - terrific - one of my favourites. (Similar to Sandy Denny) Listening to The Weaver and the Factory Maid now, again.
  7. Hard drives are very cheap now - buy y'self a big 'un. Try running SecureClean from http://www.whitecanyon.com you'll be amazed at the junk clogging yr drives.
  8. One summer evening during a violent thunderstorm a mother was tucking her small boy into bed. She was about to turn off the light when he asked with a tremor in his voice, ''Mummy, will you sleep with me tonight?'' His mother smiled and gave him a reassuring hug. ''I can't dear,'' she said. ''I have to sleep in daddy's room.'' A long silence was broken at last by his little voice. ''The big sissy.''
  9. Apparently a king size waterbed holds enough water to fill a 2000 sq. foot house 4 inches deep
  10. That's your det sensor circuit. Potentially nasty bit of trouble.
  11. ....and you'll need to get the site sorted first.
  12. If you are going up in oil quality, run flushing oil for 'bout 20 mins. Then change filter. Fill new filter with oil b4 fitting. Beware of hot oil! Sump plug is on offside. Fit new washer to sump plug.

  15. Highly recommended: http://www.secureie.com/
  16. Hey! are you a fan of the Dubliners too? (Before they lost Luke, of course.)
  17. Doctor: "There's bad news and worse news." Patient: "What's the bad news?" "You have 24 hours to live." "That's terrible! - what could be worse than that??" "I've been trying to contact you since yesterday." > > > > "Doc, gimme it straight - how long have I got?" "10" "What? - weeks? - months?" "9" "8" "7" "6" "5" . . . .
  18. Oh no he isn't... I already bought plenty off eBay, some good some not so good. Watch out for the tax and service charge on imports - not always applied.
  19. I've not looked for it for a long time but you used to be able to get an aerosol that injected a sealant that would deal with tiny leaks. (There a franchise operation that does it professionally but I've lost that link.) Seem a pity to spend money when you're saving to change.
  20. Have you driven a Zed yet?
  21. In essence you would placing a bet; you bet that the car will go wrong, the warranty co. bets that it will not. Guess who's gonna 'win' most of the time? Bit like those 'Extended warranties' offered with TVs, videos etc. Be interesting to know what the quote is. If it's grade 4 and you have had an (Independant?) engineer's report then you should be ok. The warranty co. will certainly not take the 'bet' if there is a serious risk that it would 'lose'!
  22. Hmm, I doubt that you'll find one that's financially viable. If you were a warranty co. would you do it, sight unseen??
  23. Get yourself some 'Liquid Gold' - lovely stuff.
