Anyone know where I can get an old laptop cheap?

Just need something to run win98 and office 2000 with a working serial & parallel port. Probably PII/celeron

Either that or how to get the serial port on an IBM T21 to work under win 2000!

Note that it doesn't come with an OS so you would need to make sure you have the necessary software.

 

These are reconditioned ex-lease machines. I've had a few laptops off them before and they are very good quality. Other models are available if you want a better/different spec.

Bloke left one on his back seat outside work today and another piece of thieving coventry scum broke his window and ran off down the road with it, so i dare say theres one for sale in a Pub in Coventry right now.

 

On a serious not, my mates got a mate who can ge hold of them, no doubt from an equally questionable source;)

 

I've had a word with him and hes gonna see what hes got.
