  1. Nice nose and wheels u have there.
  2. Does it make any difference in ordinary road use? (Well, ok, maybe slightly above ordinary. ) Or really only for track?
  3. Try searching on eBay. BUT..... You would be unwise to buy without a full service history. Safer to get UK car but there are some good imports about. Manual! TT! If you find a car, post info here - someone might know it. FSH! When you view, make sure that you see it started from cold - should fire up easily. Pussycat to drive. Reliable? - sure.
  4. Would not be in the seller's interest to tell you lies. If he gave you wrong information you wouldn't keep it secret! He's selling to a specialised market and a bad reputation would soon scupper his business.
  5. I should think so. Dunno, maybe. Should do. Ask the vendor!
  6. Kit here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=43120&item=7919086131&rd=1 Tempted but I suspect that my insurers might put me off......
  7. Hah! You're not going to do much business if you keep it secret.
  8. Ok now tell us; what business?
  9. Would your sideline develop into main? Stay as Sole Trader and see how it goes. Maybe worth reigistering for VAT if you have to pay a lot - are your customers mainly paying for your expertise, ie time, or for goods? If you do go Ltd iirc you will have to submit annual accounts prepared by a Chartered Accountant. Would you be making serious money or 'Pin Money'? I think that a Ltd Co. can lend money ;-). There are quite a few government agencies to give help and loans/grants. Keep accurate records of expenses and income. Maybe you could employ you wife? Give her the actual money as IR don't accept 'Notional Employment' - I got caught out by that once.
  10. 23Mb file good enough resolution?
  11. .....and there's the small question of insurance. Better ask first if you must do it.
  12. They did a similar thing with the SA80. There were already excellent proven guns available but, oh no, MOD wanted their own design. Utter balls-up; wouldn't work properly unless in top condition, (Really like war situation, pah.) pounds heavy than others and, and I still cannot believe this, couldn't be used by left handed troops!! (Ejected shells would slam into their faces.) Imagine, designing, making and testing a gun for mass production and nobody noticed the flaw. In Afghanistan, the British guns weren't stolen.
  13. You might find that the MOT testers won't accept it. Ran the idea past my mechanic and he says don't do it.
  14. At least ten years late and zillions over budget...... MOD people said that machine cannons not needed so could save £90,000,000 by not having them on the second batch for UK. Said that the weight could be replaced by concrete and lead....... Engineers then said that the shape of the replacement must be the same as the guns otherwise aerodynamics will be upset....... Not only that but the weight distribution of the replacement must be the same as the guns....... So the best thing to do would be to fit the guns! It's true I'm not making it up. Saving £3,500,000 by not having any ammo.
  15. Just goes to show how the government hates car drivers....because it can't control when and where you go nor how quickly. Government, particularly this one, is about control. (It's always wittering about public transport but how many of the members of the gov actually use it? How many cars does JP have?)
  16. Nitrous? Are you mad/wealthy? TT with a little tweakin' is fine and won't wreck your engine.
  17. Try Brandesburton Motor Company.
  18. The pay-per-click route is worth investigating - I think that I've an article in my computer somewhere about tips and tricks; when I find it I let you have it. Couple of things that I remember was to go for slightly less obvious keywords as they are cheaper and also consider using miss-spelled words.
  19. 1 - Turn ignition on but do not start engine. 2 - Turn pot fuly clockwise, wait 2 seconds minimum then turn pot fully anti-clockwise. 3 - Read flashes; the long flash gives the first digit the short flash, the second digit. To exit diag mode, repeat step 2. Some suggest unbolting the unit to see the pot and LED directly but I use a mirror. You can find the codes at http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostic/diagnostic.html
  20. Yes, very nice colour. Now put the wheels on the right way round.
  21. First mod should be intake! Apexi is the one to get. Then see zcentre for ss exhaust.
  22. There's a std spoiler in good nick going cheap here. Not too far from you. (Used to nip over to the Himalaya Indian restaurant.)
