  1. Mechs showed me under the car. Looks like the rear transmission needs to come down to get to all the locations. That means exhaust down too. Kinda rusty under the back end so goodness knows what else would be found. Nuts/bolts damn difficult to shift, very likely causing other damage. This is a small village - I do'nt the guys are trying it on; they would'nt survive long in rural Yorkshire. Used to do car work in the past, this does look fearsome.
  2. Do you have an immobilizer? (If not how did you get insurance?) Is fuel getting thro' ok? Let the engine spin well with foot off loud pedal.
  3. My beautiful, elegant, handsome red TT has failed the MOT test. Brake pipes over the transmission need replacing. Local garage reckons anything in region of £1000 - £3000. I do not have the time, proper space or facilities to fix it myself. Mechanically sound (fsh, stick, alloys, Thatcham 2, K reg.) and she is a UK car. Maybe someone would like to buy her for fixing (Or spares... but please don't tell me that, I'd hate think of her being broken up). Perhaps there's an enthusiast who would like to fix things for me?
