  1. Don't really know why you should be so amazed..... We, who have Apexi, keep telling y'all to get one.
  2. There are official-looking e-mails being sent talking about reviewing security and information. Typically the e-mail will show a link starting 'https' which looks genuine: it is not Look at the message source and you'll likely see something like 'lore.ebay.com'. Forward anything to spoof@ebay.com
  3. Pricker as used on blowlamps and primus.
  4. The Haynes manual features the Z31.
  5. My Z is fine and dandy particularly with its new fat Arrows. Feels a treat. Quick blast up and down the local by-pass just to blow out any deposits.
  6. 62 next birthday. Own teeth. Grown through hair but bearded (in a neat way.)
  7. Mindless fun for all ages: http://www.onefog.com/freeware/desktopshooter.shtml
  8. Don't forget the centre bore mentioned earlier - caught me out when I bought some Lexus wheels.
  9. After a gift like that, surely you've used the wrong vowel?
  10. Fiat Punto 55/60 Economical to run, insure and repair; plus, no-one will point and snigger.
  11. Not that we'll be bragging about it...... well, mebbe a bit .... but not for very long..... well, mebbe four years. Haha, we won, we won.

erm, don't accelerate hard. Is splash guard in place?
  13. The standard spoiler in glass-fibre will keep the shape and never bubble.
  14. Sony DSC 717 is one of the very best 5mp cameras. I have used both but chose the Casio QV5700 because the picture quality is excellent. It has a Sony ccd, Canon lens, uses std memory and will take Sony Microdrive. Totally automatic through all combantions to totally manual. I particularly liked the panoramic picture facility. Cheaper than the 717 so unless you really must have the the zoom range of the 717, it is a better buy.
  15. Run the diagnostic test and see what code you get. Similar symptoms on mine turned out to be bad contacts in CAS plug.
  16. 335mm on to 279.4mm? Bit tight. You'll not get it on using spoons.
  17. Try jump lead start; after standing for 3 weeks the battery is unlikely to have enough power to engage the starter pinion, let alone turn it.
  18. NISSAN be loyal! MICRA excellent little motor to get experience on/in.
  19. Smooth ride? not really but who cares? Smooth, powerful acceleration - heh, heh, you'd better believe it. Apexi intake first thing to do, polyurethane bushes, de-cat, ss exhaust. (etc.) Only prob sitting out will be battery drain running the alarm system (and the petrol gauge is always on.) James! is that ins on a second car?

Shhh, or else everyone 'll want one. Keep your eyes peeled for speed traps etc.
  21. Something cheap to insure. Something cheap to fix. NOT a Z.
  22. Had this from an American site: Let's say you want a 2"shorter throw, take the shifter and cut it right where the pivot ball and the top half meet (right above the pivot ball), then take the top part you just cut off and cut 2" off that, put the little 2" piece aside you will need it later, then re-weld the shortened part of the shifter back on the pivot ball. then take the shifter and cut just below the pivot ball...take the 2" piece the you cut off earlier and weld it to the pivot ball where you just cut off the bottom portion then re-weld the bottom portion to the 2" piece you just welded back on. Now what you should have done if you did it right is shortened the shifter above the pivot ball 2" and lengthened the shifter below the ball 2".
  23. Sounds as though there is something wrong with your system. The HICAS should not operate at low speeds. The system should only move the wheels momentarily before re-aligning and then only when your speed and cornering justifies it.
  24. Contact smw1 - Stuart - he had his Z transported. Otherwise try Yellow Pages.
  25. I posted that stick-on a while back - nobody liked it. Garage boss was here yesterday collecting the Momos for refurb and he pointed out that it would fail mot test - the reflectors are covered.
