Sunny day.......Z-less
My Z is fine and dandy particularly with its new fat Arrows. Feels a treat. Quick blast up and down the local by-pass just to blow out any deposits.

Digital cameras?
Sony DSC 717 is one of the very best 5mp cameras. I have used both but chose the Casio QV5700 because the picture quality is excellent. It has a Sony ccd, Canon lens, uses std memory and will take Sony Microdrive. Totally automatic through all combantions to totally manual. I particularly liked the panoramic picture facility. Cheaper than the 717 so unless you really must have the the zoom range of the 717, it is a better buy.

First problem
Run the diagnostic test and see what code you get. Similar symptoms on mine turned out to be bad contacts in CAS plug.

What size rim will a 335 tire fit onto?
335mm on to 279.4mm? Bit tight. You'll not get it on using spoons.

Slightly Knackered Z
Try jump lead start; after standing for 3 weeks the battery is unlikely to have enough power to engage the starter pinion, let alone turn it.

Newbie - be gentle with me...
Smooth ride? not really but who cares? Smooth, powerful acceleration - heh, heh, you'd better believe it. Apexi intake first thing to do, polyurethane bushes, de-cat, ss exhaust. (etc.) Only prob sitting out will be battery drain running the alarm system (and the petrol gauge is always on.) James! is that ins on a second car?

Omg
Shhh, or else everyone 'll want one. Keep your eyes peeled for speed traps etc.

Quick shift
Had this from an American site: Let's say you want a 2"shorter throw, take the shifter and cut it right where the pivot ball and the top half meet (right above the pivot ball), then take the top part you just cut off and cut 2" off that, put the little 2" piece aside you will need it later, then re-weld the shortened part of the shifter back on the pivot ball. then take the shifter and cut just below the pivot ball...take the 2" piece the you cut off earlier and weld it to the pivot ball where you just cut off the bottom portion then re-weld the bottom portion to the 2" piece you just welded back on. Now what you should have done if you did it right is shortened the shifter above the pivot ball 2" and lengthened the shifter below the ball 2".

HICAS Eliminators
Sounds as though there is something wrong with your system. The HICAS should not operate at low speeds. The system should only move the wheels momentarily before re-aligning and then only when your speed and cornering justifies it.

New tail lights available
I posted that stick-on a while back - nobody liked it. Garage boss was here yesterday collecting the Momos for refurb and he pointed out that it would fail mot test - the reflectors are covered.
