Er - it's sorta my fault that you haven't been able to get hold of Luke ! :o He's busy trying to finish my manual conversion. Both are good movies with great effects but Sir Ian McKenna's acting performance and Ray Park's aka Nightcrawler (& Darth Maul elsewhere ! :D ) fighting/stunt skills make X-Men 2 the better movie IMHO Matrix has really long fight scenes but quality counts more than quantity - I reckon they should have found a real martial artist to play Neo. And how long did that dance/love scene go on for ?? :confused:

Used them several times and always had great service ! Usually takes about a week to get your delivery, and they've beaten UK dealers on price, even after delivery and tax extortion, every time, hands down ! Do you set it to re-circ when you've got the air con going ? There's no point keep cooling new hot air when it's hot out and you've got pre-cooled air inside - it just keeps getting cooler and cooler 'til I get complaints from shivering passengers ! :D :D

It actually triggered a laser alert and had me baffled for a bit 'cause I was on a totally empty dual carriageway at about 1am. Lucky Z's have glass roofs or I'd never had known and continued on ! I don't reckon they could do you from the air as like you say they can't actually gauge their ground speed, but I guess they can get a pretty good idea and then radio ahead to get a panda car lying in wait ! :mad: I've heard that strong infra-red lights can trigger the laser detectors so maybe he just had his IR flodlights on me to try and read the plates; again it's a good job we have t-bars as the signal would not have got through the roof otherwise ! Luke's (Zcentre) charging me £1200 for mine, including all the parts (except for the clutch which I bought myself; as I wanted an uprated one!). With an OE new clutch it would have been £1400. He doesn't have any more boxes, but I think the labour part of it is £700 ! While you're changing over anyway why not go for one of Luke's quick shift gearsticks ?

Also the number of perfectly safe A roads that now have a 50 limit and speed cameras - an excuse to extort more money or wot ? :mad:

Who needs 'heel and toeing' when Racelogic offer Full Throttle Shift as an option for their traction control unit ? ;) Every time you depress the clutch it holds the engine at whatever revs you've preset it to ! It's the lazy man's option, which suits me !! :D Well what do you expect - my Z used to be auto !! :D

I wouldn't object to them if they really were at blackspots, and outside schools etc, but as they stand the more that get destroyed the better, I reckon ! If they really want to reduce deaths on the road they should address the causes of accidents (speed usually makes an accident worse but very rarely causes them - even in govt figures!). They should introduce measures like min speed limits for A roads to stop people doing 30 on a 60 road; making everybody else have to overtake when it's maybe not safe.

Does your 2nd car have one of those quick de-icer screens (usually in Fords I think!) ? They jam some of the signals coming through ! My Bel 990 works a treat in both cars - even warned me about a Helicopper that was stalking me in my Z late one night ! :) :) Course - not having a metal roof may mean you get extra false alarm signals coming in that way ?
