:D :D LOL ! Sorry mate - had to be worth a try; you seem to have just about everything else fitted ;) And believe me I can sympathise - I'm waiting to have the sorry pile of scrap that was my auto box replaced with a nice manwell one. I could REALLY do without forking out any more but I just figured I've had enough hairy moments with the auto box for TC to be essential with my driving when I go manual :D
  2. Can't help with the smoke, but as for the il leak it's worth checking all of your engine seals as oil can drip onto the exhaust and then run back before it drips off. You wouldn't see any under the engine as the belly pan catches it !
  3. Not so sure about that awful Ferrari Enzo body kit it's wearing though in that link ! ;)

I've spoken to Luke this morning (about the Racelogic Group buy - hint, hint :D ), but he did say he's going to be out for the rest of today. He should be in tomorrow though, apparently ! Worth waiting a day maybe.
  5. Agreed ! But then the bottom's dropped out of the GT market - sports cars are all the rage now I guess ! Have to admit though I wouldn't mind stepping down in class of car if I could have a 350 ;) (the fat version anyway!)
  6. The OE spoiler does look like it'd there in place of a larger spoiler ! Maybe they'd have sold more cars if they'd had a high level spoiler; instead of letting the Supra have the first of the kind ? If they sent the original design of the car to Strosek BEFORE they released the car they'd have sold shed-loads more ! ;)
  7. If you DO want traction control though just do a search on 'Racelogic Traction Control'. That really does work and it's well worth the money ! ;) konrad
  8. Yeah, that's why I clicked the wrong button thinking the poll was for aftermarket jobbies, which can look damn fine ! OE sucks ! Stillen type 3 - yeah baby !! ;) :D
  9. How about some car silhouettes to stick on the side on the car ? I need silhouettes for TVR Chimaera Porch Carrera 4 Lotus Elise Audi S2 (spit!) Not the longest list for 5 years of piloting a Z, I know, but what with the Nottingham gestapo not many drivers take you on ! Do I get half a silhouette for holding a Viper for miles ? Your door's probably not big enough for all yours eh Macca ? ;)
  10. Doh ! Clicked the wrong button  I managed to vote that it looks good - whata mistaka to make ! You forgot to add - let's water in !
  11. Maybe you could wire that into the alarm system. Once a TWOCer gets in the car the doors all lock and the aircon suffocates him ? :D My old Piranha system had an optional attachment only available in the US to sue CS gas on intruders but suffocating them sounds even better ! ;)
  12. Worth considering a Mongoose too; it's unintrusive under normal driving, apart from sounding deep, and sounds great when you boot it :D Last thing you want is an exhaust that makes you sound like a boy racers !

Having had a Lancia previously I'm still taking no chances though; I run a dehumidifier in the garage ! Anybody tried those rust prevention devices in the back of the Z club magazine ?

They do look good, and they are Nissan parts - the 99 spec 300ZX had an off the boot spoiler and there is a gap in the bodywork in the boot when you remove the normal boot spoiler. If you go for an aftermarket wing you either need to put that on or a metal skin. I opted for the perspex one myself :D

Hi Clair have a look at the Zcentre site - http://www.zcentre.co.uk/index.shtml and click on lighting. Was it like that ? (ZCL02L/R)
  16. Could be he gets sideways more often than I do. Might change once I get the traction control on but I tend to prefer facing forwards ;)
  17. I'd say totally the opposite - the tread wear is unbelievable for a performance tyre ! I've only had Toyos myself, but a mate with a WRX Impreza has had both. The Bridgestones only stretched to 6k but the Toyos went on for over 10k, both including some track use !! ;) He said the S02's were very marginally better in the dry but certainly no better in the wet and that the price difference is even more pronounced when you consider how much longer the tread lasts.
  18. I've used Toyo Proxes for several years now and they certainly get my vote - wet/dry/track.. any conditions really ! If you're running on standard rims then you should still be able to get the damage warranty for free with them too ! Not if you've upgraded to 17's though
  19. Wasn't it just an RT10 Viper though ? Would have been significantly quicker if it had been an SRT-10, or even a GTS. ;) And it must have been trick photography - the TVR didn't break down :D
  20. All torque, no action eh ? ;)

Praps when the war's over there'll be some Bradleys on the market - you don't often need to stop in them ! How about a group buy ? :)
  22. And by the way that spoiler looks damn fine on the car :D There were a couple in with them when I had my stillen one put on. Good choice !
  23. You may well be in luck - mine had no rust whatever, even though the water had been getting under the spoiler ! There is a gap on the top of the boot when you take the OE spoiler off though so you'll need to get either the skin to cover it or the perspex cover, both available from the zcentre (look on Luke's site under the spoiler section and there's some advice there and photos of the skin and cover) Go for the perspex !! ;) Cheers ! konrad
