All 3 of my cars could do with being re treated. (the FTO has nothing just bare metal :( ) What is this stuff like is it just spray on and job done. I wanted to do all in the wheel arches, wish bones and the underneath etc. Would it be safe to do the wheel arches as they are just bare matal on the fto?? Here is a link to the kit http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WAXOYL-under-body-wax-sealant-2-5lt-Sprayer-kit-CLEAR_W0QQitemZ290358456675QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Body_Shop_Supplies_Paint?hash=item439ab67163&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 :D

thinking about treating myself to an sub and amp. don't want anything mega heavy just like a bit of bass with my music every now and again. can anyone recommend a sub and amp package? if i get 400w sub do i need a 400w amp? i don't know how you measure out a reliable sound system. was looking to spend around the £200 mark or very near. Please could someone point to me what would be a good set up? links are acceptable aswell if you only have the time for a copy and paste

Took the girlfriend to see a mazda MX-5 tonight before the cinema. Walking upto the garage there was a red 370z 09 plate sitting there. I didnt really like the car in the photos of it when i seen them, but seeing the car in person i was just like WOW! Granted headlights arent the best but what an awesome looking machine, i was vey impressed with it, nice big and beefy:D!

Hi all, My car's in my garage at the moment, the driver's side o2 sensor is out after a massive ball-ache, but I can't get the new sensor in because I can't apply pressure onto the new sensor via the crows feet and extention bar so the threads catch and it screws in. How have other people gotten around this? Does the car need to go up on ramps and then I could install it from underneath? Secondly, I can't see any way of getting to the passenger side sensor, how have people gotten this out? Again, do you get at it from underneath the car? I have extension bars and crows feet, but this is taking forever! It's taken me 1.5 hours to get the old sensor out! …

  6. I am waiting for some front fog light ducts to turn up from Carmad and am think some or all of the following:- Completely repaint the grey strip in satin black including the fog light ducts. Smoke the sidelight/indicators in satin black. Smoke the sidelight/indicators in satin black and lacquer/polish giving a shiny finish. Leave side lights as they are. What do you think? Also can anyone photo sop the side lights so they look smoked? Thanks in advance, Andy

my auto box is slow in changing gear and if i boot it it hits the limiter for a second and then changes, could it have something to do with the exhaust being 4.5" and 5" exit so no back pressure? i topped up the a/t fluid yesterday and it took about 2 pints and there is a slight improvement. any help much appreciated cheers.

emissions is 6% on CO level. very rich. the MAF reading is 1.3 (ok i beleive) timing 15 deg (fine) injector pulse 2.27ms injector duty 2.11% IACV 17% the TPS was out, it was 0.80v, now corrected to 0.48v i need to lower the base idle i believe, as its 1125rpm. now then, the o2 sensors. Left 0.65v (on idle) Right 0.34v (on idle) when reved the car to 2000rpm, the reading just stayed there, maybe increased/decreased a little, but its supost to go nuts isnt it? when i lower the base idle, will that lower the voltage, decreasing the CO level? or are the o2 sensors broke?

A friend of mine has just bought a 90 Manual TT off fleabay as a project, the car is imaculate but does not run right or idle. It sounds like a huge blow from the drivers side downpipe but i was under the car and tightened everything up and cannot find an exhaust problem. the car sounds like the exhaust is not attached its that loud. Im wondering could it be a gasket problem between the Plenum and the heads. The car holds perfect temp and oil pressure and no mechanical knocks or taps just this blowing sound. The engine has been freshly rebuilt with new turbos but tbh a poor job of refitting the engine found loads of connectors broken or unplugged including one at the back…

i currently have car insured as a automatic and wish to fit a manual conversion kit. I looked at price comparisons and filled ouot a new claim with the gearbox modification option... pretty much all of the companies came back with "we do not support thsi type of mod" whats the best way of doing this? obviously i can't get away with just insuring the car as a manual so my next option is could i change the car details with DVLA or something to make it a manual car on paper thus insuring it as a manual simply? how did you lot get around this? cheers all

I'm talking 1/4 mile now :D Why is it that the 300zx struggles to get into the high 12's doing the 1/4 mile when a stage 1 supra ie around 1 bar of boost on oem turbos can get into the 11's? Both similar power, both similar weights, both RWD Answers on a postcard

Well my Z was collected by Chris from Centre of Gravity yesterday afternoon and he has been working on it throughout today. He is a really top bloke to talk to, even though it is only on the phone at present! Anyway he spent about 1.5 Hours freeing off all the adjustment points and then proceeded to set the car up. He is also going to check over my traction control to ensure it is set up correctly as well. Last i heard was about 1700 and he was just off to take it for a test drive after the first round of adjustments!

Had to get the AA out last wednesday returning from work as my car decided to spill all of its coolant. I've only just been able to get round to finding the leak. There felt like a tiny leak around a small hose above the water pump but didn't seem like it would cause the amount of fluid collecting on the under tray. Bearing in mind the car hadn't been started since Wednesday and I tried filling the radiator up without running the engine, would coolant leak from the small pipes from the heads or water pump from just filling up the system? Seems like something has ruptured badly!
