Hello All. Anyone know of after market front seats that'll pretty much bolt straight in an import LWB series 1 using the same rails and electrics?

Has anyone replaced the hatch/boot cover with something more substancial, i.e. a real parcel shelf. On the basis that a lot of the noise in the car comes from this area, I thought something more solid would make a bif difference. Any ideas?

Well i went down to Centre of Gravity to collect the car on Tuesday and took it for a drive. WOW! It was amazing! Chris had done a top job setting the car up and it was getting all the power on to the road and was handling fantastic. I had a problem with a really low biting clutch which i thought just needed bleeding out but apart from that all seemed well. The Z was struggling to catch the idle when decellerating from speed and pulling up so i nipped down to Thor where Peter plugged the laptop in and changed the idle parameters slightly, job done. He advised me to test it and pop back in the morning if there were any other issues. On Wednesday i got up and again was havi…

Sorry guys going to get a lot of questions from me for the next for weeks, as I've now started on my 300zx now its arrived home yesterday, Right i have a problem with my drivers side front light cluster, both lights turn on, but the front drivers side is very dim, both seem to be working just doesn't seem like enough power is getting to them, passenger side is working as it should.....ho you know what ill go get some photos and post them to show you what i mean..

The coolant overflow bottle located inside the passenger side wing in mine now has a hole in it due to my suspension set up letting the wheel just catch the very edge of it! i am looking at getting a smaller size bottle or alternatively getting one fabricated from aluminium that is slightly narrower. Anyone done this or any suggestions as to what to do?

My zed is over-fueling, was like this when i purchased it. So just wondering what may be the main cause. Will it require a fresh re-map? I assume over-fueling will be bad for the rebuilt engine:headvswal

Hi, I have recently finished my manual conversion, and the power light flashes (i haven't counted them) about 10-15 times when i start the engine, then goes out. I'm presuming that light is obsolete now, since the conversion, and it's flashing because it's missing one of the sensors from the auto box. Take the bulb out?

Guys is a must have, or is a bit over kill for the average enthusiast. Does the software come with a list of the relevant codes = faults to help with the fault finding cheers H

Hi all, Im in the process of sanding down and preping my 350Z calipers as they wasnt in the best condition with paint chips etc. I was just wondering whats the best method and paint to buy? I know it has got to be high temp paint but where is best place to buy the materials from? P.s i want to spray them and not use a brush for best results. Cheers Dan

Just about to pressure wash my engine, is this a wise thing to do? Only had a car a few weeks so doing my best to make the car look as best it can be.

My code is KH2 for the paint, as you can see below it is Grey. I was wondering if anyone has managed to find aerosols in this colour, as I need to spray a patch on my sill after having welded it?

Mine is a silver colour inside and im just sticking white dials in it so they might not show up very well so thinking of painting it black. Are they black as standard or has mine been painted silver?

i had the car for the day today, absolutely loved it anyway i've noticed a few things that i wanted to pick your brains about before i mention it to the hubby, dont want him moaning that i broke his car. firstly when giving it a bit of oomph over a little stretch (prob about 100 yards) i smelt exhaust fumes in side the car, not really strong but enough to smell, why would this be? secondly never even sitting in a zx before let alone drive along in one, i can feel every bump in the road, are they like this anyway or does the suspension need replacing? any advice will be gratefully received :D thanks in advance

hi, i'm still fairly new to the 300, i know nothing about them to be honest:( i've got a 1990 tt, and when it gets warm it sounds/feels like it's running on 5 cylinders. when it's cold it's fine, apart from cutting out from time to time! i'm going to change the plugs at the weekend, to see if this helps, but was wondering what else to look for. thanks in advance.

Anyone here from Spain spotted one flyin !! the other week on the N340. It was the only Jap sports car spotted in two weeks and it was a Zed , Quality :dance::nana2::dance:

I've been to look at a zed TT tonight that has the occasional bit of smoke at idle + sometimes on startup to see why it does it....It has had the pcv valves done.Does not always smoke, hard to say exactly if it was blue or grey? My problem is, its got a balance bar between the exhausts. Any simple ways to tell? Remove the inlet to turbo pipe? :confused:
