Hi, I posted some help out last month regarding a strange buzzing sound underneath my car. I had a few responces but nothing really pin pointed the problem, I have this morning been under my car and found where the noise is coming from. It is central of the car where the gear shift goes up into the car. the noise is only there when the ignition is switched on and engine is off!! it is deffo electrical and sounds like a fridge??? Do soloniods buzz?? The noise is quite loud. Hope someone can help ;) Thanks

since zedworld looked at my zed yesterday it splutters when i press the throttle before pulling off fine, they moved the tps so like a dick i just moved it again and now it idles at 2000 rpm, i put it back were it was and it still idles high what have i done :headvswal

Just got myself a set of cruise 135's and they are just touching the calipers on the front so im goin to phone the seller (dp motorsport off ebay )and tell them ill try spacers first before i return them,my question is what are the thickest spacers i can use before i need to start lookin at longer studs or the bolt on spacers They are 33 et by the way Cheers Jim

Hi All I just got hold of some 18 inch 8/9 J staggered wheels for my Z. They are ET 45 all round and I am fitting them on a standard height car for now but am planning on lowering the car soon. Current thoughts are front 20mm Hub centric spacers for the front with 225/35/18 tyres rear 15mm hub centric spacers for the rear with 265/35/18 tyres. does this seem about right or do you think I could get a wider spacer on the front running a 225 tyre? Any thoughts or advice much appreciated.

i`m still relativley new to this scene and not really had much contact with other z owners. i sold a propshaft to a guy today who seemed to now his stuff,and i was very impressed with his engine bay layout and the 99 spec bumper.its the first time i`ve seen a z with that much detail to attention in the flesh.mine is a long way off yet but i`ve seen the light at the end of the tunnel(so to speak) and i`m glad i`ve chosen a z to modifiy.

I bought viniboy's Tomei steering wheel and quick release boss... but it hasn't got a wheel centre, and I had a spare nose panel Z badge, but can't make my mind up whether it looks good or not. :confused: I mean it looks ok, but not sure whether its a bit big for a steering wheel. looking to instal an amp in my swb 300. would prefer it hidden other than on the shelf over the fuel tank with another shelf over the top where is a good place to hide an amp?

Just been out to the car, and just about managed to get the jack under it to put it on axel stands and get a few pictures of the damage if it was visible... :shock: Is all i can say to be honest. anyway here are the photos Oil filter to the right of frame, oil pan showing "blow Out" hole better angle showing main damage need to do some rust removal. a pipe that goes nowhere? i have one the same on the other side looking at it, you would think that this engine worked

Looking for a pair of front brake calipers for my 96 NA import. will TT calipers fit what sort of price should i be paying? where can i get a refurb kit from with maybe new pistons??? All help greatly appreciated :bow:

Im trying to help out Marv 300, manual TT. Starts fine, but boost will not go past zero, have checked pipes and all appear good. Ecu comes up with error code 13. Temp sensor. If this is shagged would it cause no boost or what else to look at??????

Went to Zedworld today for a conzult/health check. Just to add my recommendation (to the many) to anyone needing work done its worth the trip. Great set up, facilites and knowledgeable staff.

Will a tt manual box fit a non turbo manual engine without the need to swap anything over?

Had a bit of a disaster last night putting them on LOL got 3 of them on no problems then the last rear wouldnt fit :wack: tried everything but nope woldnt go on, took it off and the hub was bigger than the wheel centre :mad: so 10 minutes of head scratching, took the other rear off which fit fine only to realise it still had a spiggot ring on :smash: it was the same colour as the rims so blended right in and you couldnt tell it was there, anyway managed to get it out and rims fit fine then :hyper: Still think i need to space the fronts out to fill the arches a bit more but the rears fill out very nicely indeed. The wheels are Rota GTR drift 8.5" fronts ET30 with…
