I have taken off temp sensor and cleaned it up and car runs ok but problem does return eventually. Have used a connector cleaner this morning and it doesn't come onon ignition. To check it i disconnected temp sensor and put ignition on and the fan doesn't kick in.... so now i have no idea what's going on ! Any idea ?

Hi, Just thought I would post this as it has been a bit of a pain to get the right fittings together. basically I wanted to convert the fuel supply and return lines to AN fittings so that my entire fuel set up is solid. The fiittings I used (and there may be others) are an 5/16" to -5JIC hardline connector, which then accepts -8JIC x 1/2"UNF adapter - looks like this: And bunged to keep the crap out... It was only about £13.00 for all of the above. ;) Hop ethis helps someone else save some time and money ;-))

I have still had trouble with the car running which has been very frustrating :headvswal Basically up yo 3500 revs the car reall struggled and then once the turbo spooled up it went well but it was very hard to get to that point. The worry was a chip wasn't going to work and I would need stand alone management which although a long term plan is out of my budget at the moment. Whilst working on the car to address the overheating issue I had the airfilter off for more room when working, ran the car up to temp to check on the heat issue but while moving about the car I was surprised at the force of suction into the inlet. Originally I had two smaller cotton gauze filters for…

Can someone please post a photo as above. My targas keep leaking. Despite loads of suggestions on here with possible fixes they still pxxs in when it rains. I'm wondering if at some point in the past the 'A' pillar covers & the trim that the targa 'bolts' go into have been removed & not put back correctly. A photo would help me to eliminate that possibility. thanks in advance!

Right, waiting on a engine crane being delivered, and would like to know if i take out the A/C pump and leave it off will this affect anything else apart from weight and the obvious fact i wont have A/C, will it effect the heating for winter in anyway? also what else can i safely remove that's not necessary as a weight saving exercise? while i have the new engine here.

Hi, Couple of weeks ago I did a test overlay on the small scuttle piece below the windscreen today - I must emphasize that this was a damaged piece of Carbon Fibre Twill - in fact the last bit off of a roll - and it was stuck to the cardboard role and had been therefore stretched out of line so anyway... First I rubbed it over with some 60 and eventually sprayed it black. Then did the usual layer of resin - waited for it go super tacky - and placed the CF over the piece and pressed it in all those important likkle places ;-)) After about 20 mins I poured a floodcoat of surfboard resin over and left it to dry in my workshop oven. When cured I trim…
