Was speaking to my mate earlier about this, I don't know why I had the thought but I was thinking of brake alterations - is it possible to fit a set of 4 pot front capiers on the rear of a Z32?? Has it been done before and would it make much of a difference? Obviously handbrake would be an issue.

  4. Hi, As you may recall I am building a top mounted fuel rail feeding top feed injectors - so when I bin the stock fuel rail I will lose the mount point for the stock Fuel Temp Sensor. I believe the 300Degree rail has a hole on each rail for the OEM temp sensor to be re-used - but I have also read a few Aussie and USA posts that say they have deleted it when changing rails!!!! :xxx: I could mount the temp sensor back on the new rail - or more conveniently maybe on the 'Y' splitter block to the parallel rail feeds! Or - if advantageous - anywhere else?!?! What's the best solution chaps? Any feelings?

...Can I just disconnect and remove servo, cable etc? Are there [going to be] any issues with just leaving the connector flapping in the wind (with the others)? Sounds simple I know - but this is a ZED so... :nelson: Cheers..

guys trying to get these 2 apart as I need to remove mu fuse/relay box. As you can see the grey one came apart no problem, the brown plug is being more difficult. I have tried the obvious of pushing down on the small plastic tab on the connector whilst pulling apart but no joy! Am I misssing something or do I have just just pull harder? On the 2nd pic. how does the socket come away from the metal prong? Tried pushing the tab in from hte under side with a flat bladed screwdriver but to no avail!! :smash: H

As first job of the national events organiser i need a couple of regional events organisers. Your club needs you ;) If you are a subscribed member in either of these areas and you feel you can make a difference and arrange local meetings please PM me. The regional event organisers are a really important part of the club!! without meetings we are just an internet site. Next year i hope to put together a range of events over the year and need the help to make this happen so if you have what it takes please let me know. Cheers Mike

  22. Started by FuZTT,

Hi, When I'm driving around town at low revs (1.5k) at a constant speed, then come off the accelerator, the engine judders and there's kind of a knocking sound from the engine. The only thing I can think of (with my limited knowledge) that's wrong is the throttle cable is slightly loose as the effect is as though the throttle's bouncing? I have a feeling that this isn't the problem though and that's it's something else  Anyone have any ideas? Also, when idling, there's a bit of a popping noise from the exhaust as though the car's misfiring? So i'm not sure it's misfiring when I come off the gas or something. Cheers, Brian

Right tomorrow is Tuesday, and im going to be finishing off prep work for engine removal, I've been over and over and over posts of engine removal on the z32, but im still a bit concerned about certain aspects like prop shaft removal at the gear box, nothing seems to go too much into detail, im also a bit worried about if i can get the room under car to bring the gearbox and engine out at an angle.... ooh well wish me luck, want this sorted out tomorrow ready for my new engine on Wednesday. The plan for tomorrow - Jack car at the front and put on ramps - Jack car at rear and put on Axel stands - Removal of all pipe work including electrical wiring from the…

I don't know about anybody else, but my rear wiper blade is only 16" long, which is pretty pathetic as it doesn't clear enough area. I've now replaced it with an 18" blade which is far better but am thinking of 20 or 22". Has anyone else fitted a longer blade and are there any disadvantages?
