Hi everyone The next "non starter" The car drove fine up until this morning ( daily drive ) when it wouldn´t start :o( I,ve esablished that there is no fuel being pumped to the engine and that I cannot hear the fuel pump engage when turning the ignition, so I have checked the following: 1: All fuses 2: all connectors relating to the fuel pump 3: The fuel pump relay ( it clicks..twice? ) 4: The fuel pump, i took it out and hooked it up to a battery and it works. 5: the fuel filter 6: After doing an electrical test I found that there is power going into the fuel pump relay but no power is being transmitted to the pump when the ig…

Hi, i've been looking at getting some slam panels for the engine bay, you know, the ones/s that cover the front of the bay over the lights are and the rad. Now as i see it, i have 2 options, get it as a 3 piece option from DTA ie 2 light covers and a rad cover, or go for the zcentre option of a 1 piece item so apart from the obvious difference in money, has anyone had either of these who can give me a review thanks Rich

I've got a set of wheels from an old car that I think might look good on my z31 and after looking at some guides online and doing the math I think that they will fit with the use of a pcd adapter (anybody got any experience using these - OK to use for every day use?) and without having to change the tyres...anyone care to do the math and confirm? Current setup: 5 Lug bolt pattern: 5x114.3 15x6.5 +20mm Tyres: 215/60/15 New setup: 5 Lug bolt pattern: 5x120 17x7.5front 8.5 rear +41 Tyres: front- 225/45/17 rear- 220/40/17 Going by the guide on ZBUM's site the offset should be alright, particularly with the addition of the pcd adapter...but I have b…

Just bought a white zx tt with evo spoiler and ferrari lookalike rear lights :nana2::nana2: Does anybody know of it? Its got a private number on it starting with RDZ (not coming with plate ) and is a low mileage. The start of the original number was G300 again can't remember the end of it.:wack: Any info appreciated.;) It's in Scotland now (obviously) but originally came from England.

Just to let folks know, I have just popped a UK spec cruise control ECU into my Jap spec car and it has remove the silly 68mph cruise limit. It now cruises at a minimum of 30mph upto a max of 105mph! A real easy swap and IMO well worth doing. Just done a 50mile round trip and cruising at 80 is so much better. Cost me £15 Only thing to watch out for is getting the right replacement box. There are 2 types, a 89-92 Ecu & a 93+ One is a 16pin connection, the other is a 20pin connection, the latter is the later box. Hope this is helpful to someone:)

I've used a few of these tools on other sites but this one is the first one I've come across to feature 300zx z31 + z32, lets you customise colour and a few other useful features to give you an idea what the wheels might look like on your car...its not exactly grease lightening but quicker than photoshoping http://www.andysautosport.com/wheels/nissan_300zx.html

Met the new owner today in Bognor, ive spotted the car twice and i know Mental and Marv300 have too. Had a good chat with Dave, the condition of the UK zed is first class, has a 99 spec front and possibly the cleanest leather seats i have ever seen. Its had loads done to it and is truly exceptional, i cant believe the price he got it for. It does have a 300zx.co.uk sticker on it, and he has a club keyring, gave him lots of advice, and he will hopefully be joining on here. Anyone know who had it before???????

Recently noticed grey/black smoke coming from my car, and the rear bumper is covered in soot. Also the exhaust tips are really heavily coated in soot. I guess the z is over fueling, how can i test for this [other than seeing the black bitzs all over the back of the car:x:] and resolve it??

Hi, can anyone recommend a garage near Middlesbrough that I can take my car to get the knocking suspension sorted before something else goes wrong? I've given the arb links a spray with ptfe last night and it's made no difference, and I really have no idea what i'm looking for to check anything else. Cheers, Brian

Hi all, Im at the final stages with the fittings of the turbos but I've seemed to have lost the hard pipes for the water feeds and returns. Could I get away with just replacing the lines with braided hose? Or would they just melt? Cheers Dan

Hi After going through 2 sets of gauges from companies who swear blind they are visible during the day, i have finally got a set of Oil Temp and Boost gauges that i can see clearly during the brightest day as well as night, shown here.. Yep, digital, Smoked Black when off and they have a coloured sweep outer rim as well as the inner value, which shows volts on startup. I think they are quite cool..got them from http://www.rspec.co.uk, loads of other gauges as well at decent prices. Rich

Having replaced my seats with leather, I liked the look of the perforated leather centres and decided to get rid of the suede interior pieces I fitted a few years ago. I took off the suede and covered the panels with the same perforated leather that is used in the seats. I was fortunate to be able to contact the manufacturer and have them send me the same leather. Went from this To this

Hi, Just been reading through a lot of HID related threads and I must admit I'm thoroughly confused as far as terminology is concerned. Could somebody please explain what is meant by dipped beam, main beam, high beam etc. in relation to the following: 1. The main lights when driving at night; 2. The traditional 'side' lights (not always on the side these days); 3. The very high intensity beam (blue symbol) when driving on a dark country lane. Also, how do the above relate to the round and rectangular lights on a Z32. Thanks.
