Does anyonw know of or seen the car before? Seems a little expensive, but looks very clean. any opinions and thoughts welcome.

I was pulled up in a road block by the police on Saturday night and they stated my number plates were illegal FFS. I was only cautioned and told to replace them or the wrath of god would decend on my unworthy head .Well not really but you get my drift lol. I was given a form which states all the legal requirements.See attached pic.Now this is my query, okay the fonts are wrong on mine (ish) But according to the form,if car is pre 2001 the plate size and letter size don't come into force before that date. So are my plates illegal ?

Right, after everything that has happened with craigTT's car, and the offers that have been placed on the table, i propose a solution. Once i have my car back on the road, and its taxed and MOT'ed, so i can park it up and get my garage free. Id like to build CraigTT his Twin Turbo. if the offers still stand, we have so far 1 rolling shell. a block and head, i have engine parts as well. and if Craig is up for it, any of the parts we can salvage off his motor. And any other parts the community would like to donate to the cause. id do all the work, unless someone else wants to come and help out, i really dont mind, and once its all done, it can go to JeffTT…

Got the zed out for its first run after engine rebuild,3 tours of the car park and bang! the gearbox disintegrated :mad: :headvswal time for a manual conversion me thinks. gutted.

New to all this so some help would be good Engine out replace all the pipes, PCV, temp sensors etc. Also removed egv and water bypass. Anything else???

if you have electric windows on the passeger side surely there must be a live there, does anyone have a pic or any usefull info on what wires that control the switch is live and earth please

I know, I know.... use the search and read up on it... Well i have a slightly different issue, (i hope) as we've had some pretty persistent rain over the last few days, i have been getting some water in the cockpit in the morning/evening when i use the car. The water is actually coming out of my Boost after market gauge hole on my A pillar, After investigation it seems the water is collecting at the rear of the moulded shape for the gauge and as i drive forward or go up a hill, it spills forward, and all over my knee. It has finally killed the new digital boost gauge this morning so i'm not to happy.. Now my question is, if i had a std pillar, the water wo…

Im fed up now Targa on the passenger side has always leaked a little so I bought a new set"NO LEAKS GUARANTEED".and guess what...leak worse than ever any suggestion would be very welcome

Im with sky at the moment and was paying £600 a year for my old zed which was modified, ive just insured my new one (silver streak) and is £800 which aint bad considering all the mods and it being 600 odd bhp, im 25 with 5 years no claims, they did say it will go down on renewal as i am 25.

Hi Guys. I have problem with this ecu. We installed ecu with HKS harkness. I have version 3.1 software and ecu communicate with notebook. But have problem. Engine not start :headvswal:mad:. We checked ignition and our spark ignition all six sparkplug in 1 tact. in parametr all ok! what maybe????

Hiya all Just done my 1st engine out very happy with myself. It when very easy too easy. My garage is now flooded with gearbox oil Oh well a day of cleaning ahead. Hope that makes you smile....

Hi guys I was a member about a year ago but need a little help. I remember that a member of the club had a signature image I used to love; it was a Z in colour against a rugged (kind of Grand Canyon) backdrop which was dark and in black and white. I have been trying to describe it to my g/f but she hasn't got the faintest what I am on about. Anyone point me in the right direction? pleeeez!

I've got a Greddy Turbo Timer which has been successfully waiting 40secs before turning my engine off. Now i am one to touch and fiddle, and after looking at the manual, decided i wanted to investigate further the workings of the device. However, after trying to get in to it from the front panel i appear to have totally nadgered it right up, in my defence, i will say some of the instructions in the manual are i bit vauge and the key combinations simply do not work! Anyone got any suggestions or can tell me if there is a software reset switch thanks Rich

...not me! the Z! Relegated the spare wheel to some dark corner of the garage and replaced with a large can of tyre weld. My electric driver's seat remains untrimmed - I intend to replace this with a manual drivers seat and trim that. The two remaining bits im thinking of is the N/A subframe (to junk the hicas) and naturally the diff as well ;) and perhaps the aircon. TBH i'll probably not go further than that as I want to keep the right ratio between performance and 'comfort'. Although annoyingly my distant future brake upgrade will pile it all back on again :( And I still struggle to save weight by constantly getting rid of that damn V-Power ;)
