Ok I've tried the grease in the hole and a hammer with a tight fitting metal bar, no go. Tried the hacksaw blade technique, and it wont even bite into it. how the hell do you get this damn thing to shift, btw its the auto bushing im on about here, not that tiny little coppery thing for the manual. JEFFFFFTTTTT HEEEELLLPPP MEEEE lol Does anyone do a tool for the removal and if so where can one purchase it as google has come up blank? this is the only thing stopping me from completing the engine swap as im not sure i can even put the gear box back on with the auto one in place, and even if i did put the gear box back on, im not even sure what role this b…

Hi guys, Already read the how-to guides on here so no drama there, however I'm a little apprehensive to be honest. But the job needs doing so going for it LOL. Is there anything that might/will break or will need replacing? I'm putting new rocker cover gaskets on. I have a new plenum gasket to go on and will do spark plugs at the same time. Any hints and tips will be most welcome. Cheers all, Rob

anyone got them on your cars , im thinking about getting some , but a PD1 which is like a strip and not small sensors, the reason for it is that my bodykit front bumper its just to low for the uk curb so the lip hits the curb every time , im getting better but my arse sticks out all the time , so this is another way round

Hi all, I have used my Z for the drive to-from work twice this week; each time I returned home in the dark...... ..............and I have to say that fitting HIDs is definitely the BEST simple upgrade everyone should do to a 300zx. I drove home on twisty country B-roads at 55-65mph and didn't need full beam once! Upgrade your headlights - it's best £100 you'll spend on your Z:hyper: Richard:)

Ok here is little fun for all., check out the photo`s below, back in December 2005 I posted a couple of pics of the cambelts changed that year, and as you will see I even wondered what 2006 would bring. now for anyone who does not know, I have kept every single 300zx cambelt we have changed, each one is dated and the reg of the car added also, may seem odd I know but it works well with our admin and photographic records and provides a trail source of our work and assists members and new owners. POSTED 23-12-2005 For anyone remotely interested what 155 old 300zx cambelts look like, there you are, our tally for the year Wonder how many 2006 will bring Happy Holid…

  21. Hi Guys, I currently have stock 16" wheels, discs and brakes on my TT LWB and want to upgrade to a good fast road set up (though be aware I am pretty hard on my brakes). I want a set up with decent "cold" performance rather than feeling like I am braking with two blocks of butter when cold and also that doesn't wear like a bitch!!! Jamie at Zedworld had recommended new EBC rotors and Mintex Extreme pads to fit my standard rims but I was also looking at going up to 18"'s - would that open up the opportunity of using bigger discs? If so what would be the best/biggest I could fit with 18" rims and is there a way of still using my stock callipers (don't have the mon…

Another one of those interesting dealer mistakes that have been sadly common over the years and given owners less and less faith in main dealer workshops. The zed in question is from Norway and has been to us previously ( last year ) that previous visit was prompted by the Nissan dealer who after changing the cambelt been unable to set the timing correctly? In fact following the belt change the owner had tried several garages in both Norway and Germany to resolve the errant timing problem that was causing poor performance and using excessive fuel. An Internet search brought him to us and we quickly identified a faulty cas unit that was retarding on acceler…

Well i finally got round to doing my heater matrix yesterday, well i say i, wot i mean is my mate, i just passed the tools,so i think i did do my bit :D any way wot a job took us all day from 8 to 4.30,decided to do the option of not taking out the dash which i think was the right one to make.but let me tell you this it is a c--t of a job to do,you have to have hands like mr strech but the size of a child, and be able to work upside down for most of the day,but in the end its in and working fine :smash::dance: so wot i would say to anyone else who is going to attempt this GOOD LUCK and make sure you have someone with you who has a GOOD knowledge of mechanics.
