Just incase parts for my car dont sell etc and im left with the full car.......... does anybody know of companys doing sponsorship deals or anybody got a company wanting to do one. If it coudl help get the bill down at zedworld i would fix but i cant find one so hence the breaking thread, i had just never thought to ask anybody on this site.lol.

I have given it some thought and although i want to stick with the Zed mainly to prove to myself i didnt let it beat me i think i am talking and thinking crazy. I have some very rare and unique parts for sale if this is the case. I believe i am the only person in the UK to have a Quaife ATB Limited slip diff which is miles ahead of the jap brands as they use clutchs as where the Quaife is cogs. I also have the Leader gears 4.10 gearing. Both fitted into my transfer box and brand spanking new. Cost me the earth to buy this item and according to Quaife UK they never made a diff for the 300zx however i got my hands on a Limited run from Quaife USA. I also h…

Hey there, Upping my brakes and wheels this month - guessed I should try and sort the suspension too. I was thinking of fitting Eibach PRO-KIT Progressive lowering springs over a set of up-rated dampers. I am looking for opinions from anyone that is using this spring kit and what dampers you have them paired up to. I am NOT looking for a super stiff set up - just a good fast road set up and I am hoping the increase in wheel size along with these springs and a decent set of dampers will give me exactly what I am looking for. Fekkin things in the shed eatin all me products - had to put everything in big ass containers. Some got in the house through the airbricks - killed em and meshed up the bricks - so far so good..... now I got em under bonnet of car!!!! Moved car other day after it had been stood a bit under cover, to see some finely shredded blackstuff under?? Anyways been running car and not happy with how its running so just ordered some bits from Zcentre. Hey Guys, I was out for a drive last week. The car had been in stop start traffic for a while and it was a cold wet day. The aircon was running on auto at 24 degrees. Without any warning - all the windows steamed up solid - I couldn't see a thing!! I fiddled with the heater controls and got it to clear using the windscreen demister. I know this doesn't sound like a huge problem but I am crapping myself that its going to happen whilst doing 100 up a motorway at night sometime. It has not happened again and I am wondering if it is something that will get worse with time or that is indicative of a particular fault with the aircon system. Other than this incid…

Went out in my zed yesturday and when at idle it would just cut out. The battery had been completely dead for some time before I gave it a good 24 hour charge, could it just be the ecu adjusting itself as after a while it idled ok?

as the title says, finally got round to picking up my conversion kit last weekend :hyper: now i just need to figure out how to do this on my drive :headvswal i take it i need to knock up some ramps about 18inches off the ground :eek: any ideas how the best way to do this would be? how much do you think a mechanic would charge to carry out this job? obviously it would be easier to pay someone to do this as they have ramps but is it possible to do this myself and a mates help?

Hi to everyone. I just bought myself a 1995 nissan 300zx. The odometer reads 95,000. I know that the car was imported some years ago so does anyone know if this is likely to be in miles or kilometres? Also, which is best oil to use on these cars?

Yesterday ordered a new set of HID's (mine died a while ago - and I went back to normal bulbs - regret it totally as now cant see owt at night). Also ordered from Zcentre a Fuel line kit (smell of fuel in cabin) and a vacuum line kit to start replacing all my lines under bonnet...... Hoping to tart up the engine bay on zed a little at a time....

Hey Guys, Does anyone know of any couriers that will collect an exhaust system weighing 25kg's and is 2.2metres in length to deliver it to Ireland. Id remove the steering lock and fit a hidden switch to make "live" rather than use key as I cant see the point of using a key and not just giving it that final turn to start :)

my battery light is coming on, dim. when i rev the car over 3000rmp or so, the light goes off. ive charged the battery, and it still comes on. is this the alternator? if i remove the battery when the cars started and it still comes on will that confirm the alternator? or mite i be lucjy to just tighten the fan/alternator belt?

Hi, Continuing from my previous thread about my water feeds! Jimmer kindley pointed out that my oil line was to close to my down pipe Before. Since my other thread ive moved my oil line from the down pipe and wrapped it in sticky back heat shield. Should this be enough clearence now? Also would it be a good idea to heat wrap the down pipe? Ive heard mixed reviews in using the cloth heat wrap. Now. Cheers Dan

Hi all. I am a newbie to the 300 world. Im going to have a look at a potential car next week and wondered what to look for...i.e. are there any common things to check. I know my way around a car and will be taking one of my nissan techs from work with me....but hes never worked on a 300! The one im going to check out is a fresh import, 1996 300zx Twin Turbo 2+2.
