Hi all, Please see my last post in the "Massive Sale" thread over in the DTA-Motorsport (UK) traders section. I'm proposing to end this sale on Monday 19th October at midnight and am offering another 10% off the already rock-bottom sale prices! With the impending postal strikes next week I'm hopeful to get all the orders shipped out on Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday. After that I can't guarantee a delivery date. So grab your bargains NOW as these prices will not be repeated! As usual - no PM's, no dibs. Payment through paypal secures your purchase. Please remember to add 3% if your order is UNDER £50.00. I'm off now but will check back tom…

As above, i am quite pleased with myself. Having no experience in car maintenance, I managed to swap out the rear speaker housing brackets (having to remove all the boot trim) and put in a couple of custom built ones which mean i now have bigger speakers in the back, without losing any boot space.. :D I also swapped out the old broken aerial with a new one, so now i get proper radio reception. And.. i only had time for one, but i managed to take off the passenger door card and changed the speaker up there as well. Next on the list is the other door, and then the steering wheel, but i have to go to work now so some other time. Thanks to all you wh…

Seen a 2+2 Silver J-Spec heading northbound on the A1, outside Torness Power Station, at about 16:30. Looked very nice for the short period of time i seen it. De-spoilered, Perspex strip and quad tailpiped exhausts. Anyone on here?

Probably all seen it, but is this proof that cars are getting slower? Love the cossie and the golf, shame about the 205 and the MR2 and the TT does the job at the end. I got love for you if you were born in the 80's

I am getting water into the car through the targa/door window join. have replaced targa rubbers but no better. Can see that inside the 'A' pillar rubber there is a hole which no doubt allows water to drain though the rubber. Is this correct & what's the easiest way to clear out any blockages?

I remember once seeing this M-reg Z on Auto Trader going for a reasonable price when it was nice and standard...... .......however someone has since ruined the interior with that awful "red and white gloss" makeover:hurl: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1995-RED-NISSAN-300ZX-2-2-TWIN-TURBO-T-Top_W0QQitemZ270469064529QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item3ef9366751&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 Shame:( Richard:cry:

Has anyone replaced the hatch/boot cover with something more substancial, i.e. a real parcel shelf. On the basis that a lot of the noise in the car comes from this area, I thought something more solid would make a bif difference. Any ideas?

Well i went down to Centre of Gravity to collect the car on Tuesday and took it for a drive. WOW! It was amazing! Chris had done a top job setting the car up and it was getting all the power on to the road and was handling fantastic. I had a problem with a really low biting clutch which i thought just needed bleeding out but apart from that all seemed well. The Z was struggling to catch the idle when decellerating from speed and pulling up so i nipped down to Thor where Peter plugged the laptop in and changed the idle parameters slightly, job done. He advised me to test it and pop back in the morning if there were any other issues. On Wednesday i got up and again was havi…

The coolant overflow bottle located inside the passenger side wing in mine now has a hole in it due to my suspension set up letting the wheel just catch the very edge of it! i am looking at getting a smaller size bottle or alternatively getting one fabricated from aluminium that is slightly narrower. Anyone done this or any suggestions as to what to do?

My zed is over-fueling, was like this when i purchased it. So just wondering what may be the main cause. Will it require a fresh re-map? I assume over-fueling will be bad for the rebuilt engine:headvswal

Hi, I have recently finished my manual conversion, and the power light flashes (i haven't counted them) about 10-15 times when i start the engine, then goes out. I'm presuming that light is obsolete now, since the conversion, and it's flashing because it's missing one of the sensors from the auto box. Take the bulb out?
