I've just done a few jobs on the car, new alloy rad, painted cam covers, new thermostat etc put it all back together and refit all the electrical connections and now the car won't start.I have run it through data scan and no faults show up . The temp sensor is a bit cracked and damaged could this stop the engine starting ? The engine turns and there is a strong smell of fuel out of the exhaust. HELP!!!

Today has been the first day that it has rained since i got my Zed.... and i'm sorry to say that she doesn't hold water so well... whats the score with the targa tops? do they all leak after time or have my rubbers gone or something like that? It seems that it is concentrated at the front of the panels, and a bit of water coming in on the passenger window seal Any advice?

went to see jeff on saturday to have a conzult unfortunatly (well fortunatly) there were no problems at all. so jeff took the car out for a spin. he then confirmed what i had suspected- it was really slow. after a bit of tinkering Jeff suggested the problem was with the recirc valves as i was only making 4psi and disconnecting the wastegate pipe only increased this to 5. i put on the replacement valves and the results were better but the car was still not that quick. after a bit of tinkering in the week i pinned the problem down. in my less informed first few weeks of ownership i replaced all the vacume hoses including the wastegate ones. guess wh…

Hi The polished hard pipes that are available, as i see it there are the stainless steel ones and the chromed ones, any body know what base metal is used on the chromed set, and are the ss ones worth the extra. Another quickie, i've got a polished Plenum, has anybody chromed one, and if so, how much, is it worth it, is it a big difference Thanks Richard

I have my Z booked in to have some work done later this month, i am not running it as usual because I think the engine may be dying, anyway, is it best to just leave it until I have to take it, or is it best to start it up once in a while - although I have heard this can cause head gasket failures ... ?? Thanks guys, Dan

seen this good write up with regards to the z32 box. i wonder if it could be just a case of swapping bellhousings over? apparently there is only 3.5 mm difference in length in the input shaft. what do you reckon?? http://www.rbz32.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=57#p208

i need to do some work on the passenger side turbo, i have heard that you can do this by lowering the engine... i have.. removed the front suspension, dropped the subframe, undone the gear box mountings and the nut inside the centre console near the gearstick as well as taking off the intercooler pipes.. i have looked around and cant see any reason for it not to drop down, but it goes down about 5 inches and gets stuck!! please help me?

Hi all, i hope someone can shed some light: Having had my Zed for a few weeks now, i am slightly worried, as i have just started to hear a gentle gurgling noise coming from the drivers side at the back of the engine. Only noticeable when the car is idling, and if you go to the front of the car (bonnet open you cant hear it, but if you bend down with your head near the steering wheel (ie with the door open) then you can hear it. It sounds a bit like fluid gurgling or bubbling through a system - this is the only way to describe it really. Any ideas? Thanks - a worried newbie:confused:

Hi Need a bit of advice. Do i just run a line from the clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder? And bleed it via the slave cylinder, as i do not have the standard hard pipe work? The open pipe at the top of the master cylinder that eventually goes to the balance bar, what do i do with this? i do not have the various pipes and tanks that a tt has. Can i just block it or would i need a n/a master cylinder? any other options? Thanks
