Ok here we go,i want to put groved discs on the front of my car,my car is a n/a import 92,now ive seen lots of discs but thay are all for tt,so ive been told if i put tt discs on i will need to put tt calipers on as well, now at the mo my calipers just give anough space for my wheels so if i put tt calipers on which i take are bigger my wheels are going to hit against my calipers. Can you tell me the diffrents in sizes between a tt discs and a n/a,and are there n/a groved or driiled discs that will just go straight on with out haveing to change anything.this is for all the wise ones out there.:):):)

Right! I've pretty much decided on the rims I want. However, what I haven't decided on is what tyres to put on them. I was thinking that for the front I'd put on a 255/35/18 on a 8.5" width rim. For the rear, a 275/30/18 on a 9.5" width rim. The offset measurements for the fronts are 30 and the rears are 35. What I really want to know is if anyone else is running this combo, or very close to it, and if they've found that something rubs on this or that. As for variables, everything in the arches is currently stock.

Anyone know who sells nice stuff to put all your wires in, this lot make heat resistant conduit that is slit so no need to go removing and re joining the connectors. Might give the wires longer life but im really not sure if it looks cool or like something from the Dr Whos prop department. What do you think? http://www.agriemach.com/default.php?cPath=81

In short, I have a complete, brand new exhaust system to install. Do I absolutely, categorically, 100% need to remove the engine to replace the exhaust manifolds? Or has anyone done it with the engine in situ before?

Remove the centre panel,, once this is done you need to seperate the parts. There are 4 x small screws securing the top edge, remove and keep safe. Using a hairdryer, you need to heat up the entire edge of the panel, to loosen up the black glue. Once done, remove the '3oozx'' logo paint, it is raised on the inside, i used a stanley knife and scrapped away the paint to reveal clear plastic. Next i sprayed the inside rear panel chrome to match the rear lights. Now using a 12v El Panel, i got this this from ebay and is availible in all colours, the thickness of paper, and comes with a 12v convertor, it needs to cover the inside of the 300zx logo, …

Here is a little gem, guy from the US is over here for 3 years and had his zed transported over at a cost of $2,500 needed it modded to pass a UK MOT, some very subtle differences but had to take a photo of the seats belts, double retracting and double length!! had it explained to me that the reason its so long is so you can get in and out without unclicking the belt.....or maybe other reasons ;) Sure Funky si has seen many of these on his US travels :hyper: Jeff TT

Hi everyone. Taken my zed for MOT today and it has failed on 'Nearside Rear wheel steering connection has excessive play'. Can anyone translate to me what this means? I.e. what needs replacing and how much is it going to cost me? :wack: P.S JeffTT if you read this - been phoning Zedworld to try and get a quote on how much you could do this for all day but had no answer - if you read this contact me via this thread. Cheers, James

As usual since owning this zed ive had it in bits :D anyway got it pretty much how i want it for now, still a few its to do but had to use the car to visit a customer today near kirkby lonsdale. Weather was nice, roads were dry and clear so had my first chance to give it some welly  I'm a very very happy bunny, couldnt run it at full boost as i still have this leak but even running at 0.5 bar its bloody fast and with the spanking new toyo T1R's it gripped like a 50 stone man onto a mars bar :) Forgotten how well these cars can handle with the right setup and rubber, was getting upto silly speeds on some really nice camber bends, all within the speed …

Ive seen a few posts on the vanquish calipers and DB9 but didnt know wether the DB7 ones will fit as well. Would mounting brackets need to be made and i presume it is 355mm discs i would need cheers Marty

Little bit of help needed please! I am getting some vibration from under the rear/middle of my manual LWB TT, had it on a ramp last night and it looked like the rubber part of the center bearing has separated for the bracket the bolts to the floor. The vibration starts when accelerating hard or when I go over 60mph, I was kindly given a reconditioned shaft with new bearing but have just remember that it was of a auto which I take it will not fit? I am now thinking of buying the following and want to make sure I am ordering the correct item, for example is this a complete unit with no extra bits needed. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=…

Had the Z on the ramps and noticed the rear shocks have 4 settings. It's 95 model import, anyone know what the settings are? 1-4, they are both currently set on 2. The car doesn't have a Sports/Touring switch in the cockpit, and the front shocks also have 1/2/3/4 on them as well - are they adjustable too? I tend to drive slow and comfortable when the wife is around, then a bit manic when she's not. The front feels a bit soft... many thanks, Alex
