As above with the drop links, i had these fitted just after my MOT in November and have had nothing but trouble with the front ones ever since. They were ok for a few days, then i thought i would try them out on the twisty roads, then i heard a click and thought, that doesnt sound good. I then started getting a creaking from the right hand side and a clicking every time i went over a bump. So i took it back to the garage who fitted them to check it over. Hi, Can anyone tell me what this pipe is for? Its the one that connects to the sump. Im guessing its for the standard oil cooler if so i can block it off as i have my oil lines connected to my sandwhich plate. Cheers Dan

I just started my car after 3 weeks and the engine is running but wham I try to accelerate I get missfire and the car won't gain speed. The engine is runnig. What shall I do? Cheers

well got to yorkshire in my Z yesterday and after driving over a plank of wood at 80 mph have got a vibration on my wheels so thought i`d go to a local place to have wheels balanced ,went to kwikfit in wakefield and the manager told me that my front tryes are on the legal limit and i need 2 new tryes ,so i said they are legal so i only need them balanced to which he replyed there machine will only balance with decend tryes ,so i said no thanks and went to just tryes and they did both and told me that they need changing as they are close to the limit but no hard sell ,all i can say is there is a reason why i never usually go to kwikfit and it has been proved once again "ro…

I thought I would share my experience on this one. I get a few z's a year here with me with oil leaks from rear of engine and the customers believes to be rear main leaking. On inspection 9 out of ten of these cars have evidence of sump removel at some time in it's life. This is the biggest clue. These oil leaks have almost always been sump leaking at the rear. Not the rear main. It's a very simple repair which seems to be difficult to get right by many. One of the cars into us had had 4 rear main seals fitted in a year by another z garage only to be the sump. I have been messing about with a photo program i got with my camera. I must admit, im useless at computer stuff, give me engines and plumbing anyday But a bit of pic editing. i have made a template of how i want my zed to look. Remove the large rear spoiler, skirts, and change the wheel colour. still not sure whether to stay with the wings west rear end or go jap. what do lot think? do it or stay as i am.

read on a couple of posts that the boost gauge shouldnt boost when in neutral? is this correct as my boost gauge goes up when i rev in neutral

Had the zed of the road for 6 months now, fitted my new turbos, hoses etc. engine back in last weekend fired it up sounds good but no temp gauge no boost gauge no clock the list goes on. Have not touched the car for a few day as I had stomach bug. Today turned the key fired up and now it all works!! Hoping if i leave it for a month it will respray it self and grow bigger wheels....well I can dream.

Hi All Just and update on my problem as in my last posts i have now pulled checked and cleaned every fuse all ok, still got warning light on no power steering indicators and apparently no reversing lights,Im stuck now looking for somewhere to take car to get it checked but need it sorted by wednesday as i use it daily for work. Any suggestions as where best to go in Fareham Hampshire area. Cheers simon

hi all . i have a stock spoiler at the moment but am thinking of adding a high level one . are there any that fit ontop of the stock or will stock spoiler have to be removed . its a 1990 jap import with brake light in spoiler . anyone have one . cheers andyzx

Can anyone tell me an easy way of getting the top roof trims back on? They seem fairly awkward and the clips are pretty crap. Where's the best place to get them from? Or could I just bond the trims on and not bother with the clips? Already marked my new paint by trying to get these on! Most annoyed lol

Have lost the inflating tyre adapter for my flush mounted team dynamics wheel /tyre valves........ Any ideas where i can get a replacement or will i have to buy a complete new set? Cheerz J

Another recommendation from me!!!!! :online2long: I have had a flashing red led for my immobiliser since I got the car, but never thought it was bright enough even at night. I do have another red led and this blinks 3 times, this is for the alarm, this is a touch brighter. :tongue: I have just withdrawn the immobiliser one out of its hole in the right pod, it now just dangles inside hidden away, still working but not now visible. got my car in the garage after spending all early morning emptying rubbish into skip, cleaned garage floor then it took 7 of us to reverse car up a slight slope into a garage. after putting gearbox away securely i noticed something.............. something is perhaps missing from side of Gearbox. pictures below taken from phone; anybody know what part this may be?
