Another recommendation from me!!!!! :online2long: I have had a flashing red led for my immobiliser since I got the car, but never thought it was bright enough even at night. I do have another red led and this blinks 3 times, this is for the alarm, this is a touch brighter. I have just withdrawn the immobiliser one out of its hole in the right pod, it now just dangles inside hidden away, still working but not now visible. Replaced in the hole with this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pre-Wired-Flashing-BLUE-12V-Led-with-Clip_W0QQitemZ300408733821QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item45f1c1807d this is much much brighter, cri…

hi all. does anyone know who to contact in the club regarding items advertised on here by another member that i payed for and never received. the guy wont even contact me to explain why. has anyone else experienced this ? ? i have been a member now for a while and so far found this club to be extremely helpfull for advice and parts. it would be a real shame if people started to abuse the trust and honesty promoted by most. any advice on this would be great.

Im sure someone has had this before or is getting it. Its almost like condensation, but only happens when the blower is on and appears quite greasy. Probably something to do with the heater matrix, but need to be sure, before ripping it out. Im also getting a burning water smell in the cab when the heater is on. I did a coolant flush about 2 months ago, but i will do it again tomorrow, just to see if it makes a difference. Can anyone shed any light..............Jeff  Cheers Graham

If anyone is thinking about getting their Z checked over by ZedWorld...stop thinking about it and do it!!! Thought I would share this with you.... A few weeks ago my heater matrix blew leaving me in a cloud of steam a long way from home on a freezing Friday night on the M25. Came home courtesy of the AA (very useful, but most undignified!) Rang ZedWorld the following day, spoke to Jamie and got my car booked in for a new heater matrix. They collected my car from Northamptonshire on a low loader, fitted the matrix and competed a ConZult. To cut a long story short, Jeff's laptop showed some strange readings and after further investigation he found that someon…

Getting tiresome now and I want to get the Z out of hibernation! I usually get it out and taxed during April, but I am not going to bother now until next month! I think this weather's supposed to carry on for the next week or two! Had so much hail last night, it looked like it had snowed! Brrrr! Yuk! Anyone else postponing their 'end of hibernation'?

Im on the look out for a set of rear wheel bearings and i stumbled upon a bit of info from our friends across the water: http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=4_25_28&products_id=3700&osCsid=ee7df60a054f1ff43a82f9dc87bf4131 Now, on the left hand side of that page, it says that the same bearing can be used on both sides as long as the location pin is moved from one hole to the other. I can see how this works but im just wondering why would the traders, ive found in this country, charge different prices for the Drivers and Passenger side bearings if its just a case of moving a pin?

hi all . if you have ever gone on the ozzy owners site you may have seen my post on there . if not here goes . firstly remove all seals from car , around doors , targa tops . clean all metal as clean as clean you can get it . fill your bath with hot water and a load of fairy liquid and throw all the seals in. when i done mine i left them in for about 5 hours and just kept topping up the hot water . all of the crap that has built up over the years in the seals (drain holes running through the seals)will soften and with a soft cloth can be cleaned out . a good method is to take the shower head off and blast water through the seals .you will be amazed at the a…

ok ive sorta havent bothered with the Z since ive got the Supra, but i had it out the garage today & realized its still one bad car! :) the car doesnt have the HICAS anymore. when i put the TT pump on initially, it worked fine, but then i had a leak, and ruined the pump. it was either the leak, or the fact that i didnt remove the piston thing in the side, which goes to the Hicas solenoid. anyway i got a replacement pump, and this time removed the piston thing for the HICAS. pump worked fine for 1 day, then went completly. ive tried routing the Hicas take-off back to the resivour, but still nothing. did i buy a broken pump? …

After a lot of soul searching I have decided to do an auto conversion on my manual. Main reason for this is that my Porsche is Tiptronic and I love not needing to bother changing gear. I went in someone elses zed that was an auto and it was a great drive!. I have just sent back my brand new Manual box and twin plate carbon clutch to buy the new bits I need for my conversion :thumbup1:. Looking forward to going auto

I would like to thank all on here for advice and help during my 2 years in Z world and hope to have another Z one day. Regards Phantom 2080

My starter motor is making some funny noise. as i know its about to die. A few phone calls later, just to give an idea of the vast difference on price Starter motor for a manual TT. Not refurb but a new OEM item. Local car parts suplliers £231.75 + vat Nissan direct £265. + vat. Found a place online Hillmart alternators and starters £109.17 +vat (£4.95) delivery This is not a refurbed one, but new, even has the same manuf (mitsubishi) and part number as the one i have. Bargain. Always worth getting some prices from a few places. If anyone knows of cheaper place please let me know
