Strange really isn't it, most of us get in our zeds and just drive em inc me. Today i started removing the engine in the silver one, and just never relised the amount of pipes large and small and loads of wire connections around the engine..........just to make the engine start and move and run, really makes you think whats going on under the bonnet when just driving around:bow:

HI Fnally got Z sorted the one that had seatbelt warning light on that had took out indicators power steering etc in my last post. well after posing the question on here it transpired to be a fuse problem had it tested and there was no power getting to most of fuses as the fuse box [ holder] had corroded away at rear. So i would like to say a BIG THANKYOU TO ZEDWORLD in particular Jeff and LINDA for the excellent service and friendly attitude. Also thanks to all who replied with …

After tracing a strong smell of fuel earlier it turns out the tank on my UK TT is rotten under one of the straps and its just dripping out! Is there a particular order I need to stick to when changing it, i.e. for fuel pressure etc? Can I undo the fuel pump from the boot then drop the tank, and fit the new tank up to the old pump? please help! :confused1:

right im getting really confused... my z has a decent exhaust set up, decent induction kit, its super chipped, and still only seems to run 313 bhp .... its a TT LWB auto, and its had the box rebuilt, engine has recently had all its gaskets replaced, even before that its only done 57,000 miles... everyone said 400 bhp was easy to get, so what am i missing? i have 440ft/lb torque, where should i go from here?

put my cd player in the car but to get it to work had to swap the illumination pin and power pin, now the stereo turns on, but then if you turn the headlights on, the stereo turns off? and then turns back on again when you turn the HL off. now as much as i like the idea of a dash mounted remote, im not to keen on the idea of singing when it gets dark.

Hello All New to this and have just purchased a 300 ZX and want to be involved. It came with a Z Club Mag and Im starting to pick up on the vibes. It has just sailed through its MOT except for the need of a new or Re Con Power Steering Pump. Had a great chat to Jeff tonight at Zed World and he only has Turbos (I have a none turbo). Previously I had been on z club . net and jeff sent me this way. Apparently Jeff thinks Slick Pete may be able to help me and you guys must know him. My garage are ready for action if I can find the part. Help please Ian Price

Help Please!! !- just started the beast after the winter lay up - Started Ok BUT Rad fan is running all the time ( from ignition on ) and engine is only running on one bank. One exhaust sweet as a nut, the other just smells like a swamp rat. Have checked thermostat control which seems ok so could this possibly be due to damp having got into the ECU ?
