Now there is nothing that would make me dismantle my air con on my zed as its a vital when stuck in traffic in mid july...even the promise of 800 bhp would not make me lose it:cool2: so my question is who has it and who does not and for what reason on both counts?? Poll added so please tick your choice.

Next month I will be sorting out the bodywork on my new Z and the finish I want is exactly the same as the following picture. I know its the 99 spec rear spoiler, but also I think I need to buy the perspex strip below it along with the 'Nissan Fairlady Z' and 'Twin Turbo' decals. I seen the perspex strip on that very site, but its only listed as 'without brake light'. Now - I have a high level brake light so does this mean I lose it? Or can I source a perspex strip with an insert for the light? Also, does anyone know where I can source that exact fairlady Z decal to finish off the strip and also the twin turbo decal for the other end? Hope you g…

Hi Guys Plan on fitting chromed Power steering reservoir, thought good opportunity to drain and replace power steering fluid. Whats the best method? Thought about removing one of the pipes on the steering rack and letting it drain out, will this drain the Hicas as well? Whats the best process to do all this, are there any gaskets/seals i will need to complete? Can i use power steering pump to pump the fluid out for me and will this drain HIcas, will it blow it out too quickly, can the motor run without fluid as it drains? All advice appreciated Regards Kev

how many have had their cars weighed properly (corner weight scales)? I'd be interested to see what they weighed in at. Had a full alignment done today and had the car corner weighted at the same time... 1467Kg with a full tank (minus 8 litres), welded in 10point FIA spec chromoly cage, minimal interior (seats, harnesses, dash, centre console back to arm rest).

Hi can anyone help, my car alarm/immobaliser is playing up - sometimes it locks sometimes it doesn't which is not the main problem. The main problem is when it won't UNLOCK. The car is also de-locked so you can see my problem when im stood in Wickes car park, fob in hand and the car won't unlock. I've put a brand new battery in the fob and the light on the fob is nice and bright, is there anything else i can check? Cheers Mark

As I'm gunna be pulling the engine to fit different turbos is there any benifit to changing the manafold while I'm there to a stainless steal one? I know about gain in airflow, or does the oem one do a good enough job? Also been back under the car, when I shake my back boxes I can here loads of Water sloshing about, was going to take them off and empty them to see if my car still smokes after. but looks like I'm going to be angle grinding it off, not even sure I can save the elbows, what are devorced elbows? And what's the benifit? Sorry for the questions but im more a stock man than uprated parts specialist

Hello. The part on my front bumper is needing re-sprayed, touched up i think. One with the lights in etc, not sure what to call it.lol. Anyways, has anybody used a paint pen, was thinking on using one as i imagine it would be easy to apply and simple with no chance of over-spray? Craig
