Right, got a little problem my front tyres are wearing heavily on the inside edge. The car is lowered on springs with stock shocks. Apart from that its on standard suspension. What do I need to fix the problem? :) I think its down to the lowering, and I assume its adjustable top arms?? I really dont have much of a clue with suspension to be honest! The rears are fine and dandy, just the fronts are quite bad. I think its whats contributing to its slight occasional nervousness on the front end! Help thank you please :)

Hi Guys, can anyone tell me how to adjust the cable tension on the fuel flap release? Through a bizarre accident the cable has stretched or pulled off of a mount somewhere. End result - the catch won't disengage. Makes refueling very difficult

Here goes, I have an Arc Super Induction Box. I need to replace the Air Filters. This Box uses 2 Panel filters rather than 1, so these would be the ARC replacement filters, but then I need to know which filter I need, then to order 2 of them I presume.. The thing is, I imagine with this kit, and with out cars being old now, I only get up pictures of the newer Arc induction box, so I'm worried incase I place an order for some filters and the wrong ones arrive... Has anyone any experience with this induction kit/ordering filters for it..(I doubt anyone has).. But the closest I believe I have came to finding the correct filters is from Newera... Does anyon…

I fitted a navan auto shifter the other day and it looks great. The only problem is im not sure if my overdrive switch is working. It was easy to fit with just a small connector and job was done. I tried the gears up and down before I fitted all the surround back but didn't check the overdrive. When I click the overdrive the light isn't coming on on the dash! My next problem is I have no insurance at the moment so I can't go down the road and check if its working or not :headvswal Can it just be the light isn't working but the overdrive is or could it be the switch in the knob itsself? Not to fussed if the light works or not as long as the overdrive does. Any ideas? …

My tail lights are LED now, so with LEDs using a lower voltage, there is less load going through the tail light circuit, which in effect is causing the 'LIGHTS' dash warning to come on lol.. I am wanting to put a resistor in the line to prevent this, rather than taking the bulb out.. Anyone know the voltage I may need?.. Or do I need to somehow find out what the voltage across the whole array of LEDs is consuming? Any help appreciated, CheerZ!

My centre panel is an EL-Glow panel. So it's I have 99 spec rears now, but they have a silver finish inside the light lense, and the lense glass is alot Clearer. My question is, can I do anything to make my centre panel lenses clearer?.. I know there used to be a guy on ebay who sold lense clearing kits to make your own 99spec lights, but what about the centre panels?.. Will spraying the inside chrome suffice? Please help, Thanks! :D

A friend of mine spent a while fitting these to my car today, nice looking kit until you start to try and fit them so I thought I would share our experience through today. First of all the braided lines only come with on grommet/fixing item on to secure them to the car, not a huge issue as we have sorted something similar using some inside out fuel line etc etc (Inspired piece of engineering!) Secondly there is only adjustment in the kit, (via spacers/shims/washes) in one direction, sadly the 300zx brackets really need it in the alternative direction. The result of this is taht you end up with a caliper that doesnt sit in the correct position, the only solutions…

I was in the black z31, you were behind me in a red z32 for a couple of miles all the way from Govan to more or less city centre when I took off after The Quay...and you failed to entertain me by keeping up or wasting me up the inside  Nice front end, that's all I could see in my wing mirror...couldn't see anything out of my rear view mirror thanks to my sagging headliner!! :blushing: and yes it was filthy, only its second run of the year and was treated to a wash later in the afternoon.

I joined this forum after a member of another club I belong to recomended it to me. I was needing a clued up Z Mechanic to look at my newly aquired car as it was running like a bag of spanners and smoking more than Dierdre Barlow! So, after a quick post on here, Jimmer was recomended to me by your good selves and I sent him an email. Well, that was about 6 weeks ago now and He managed to fit me in last week. Two new turbos, Oil and filter change, 10 new loom plugs and a good check over saw me driving away a very VERY happy bunny!!! So I wanted to put this up to say thanks to the members on here and a HUGE thanks to Jimmer for fixing the car! …

What a awesome day. had a little bit of a nightmare and a few heart attacks along the way lol, but was a very good day. Even managed to figure out why all of a sudden one of the coil packs stopped working. (for anyone who thinks they have a coil pack problem, check and make sure to reseat the rubber bung on the Wiring harness loom Coilpack connection socket, or you do not get a good contact, thus stopping your coil pack working) Anyway, was checking the injector connectors on Pablio's car, and they were all lovely and green, so started cleaning them up, got 3 done and started the engine, did the old screw driver on the top and listen trick, noticed that number…

From looking at a couple of threads it seems I need to take out the rear upright and bench seat and then the rear side panels, and drill a hole in the window surround trim, can I do this with it in situ or have I GOT to take it off? Obviously I'll need a position on where to drill the hole in the trim does anyone have a picture of one handy?
