Branson Z Fest is held every year in Branson, Missouri. Caters for all the Z car range, S series, Skylines and G series Nissans. I've not been yet, but keep getting bugged my 3ZC admin of whom I've been to other Z shows across the US to. Initial plan was to meet up with some crazy guys in LA who drive cross country via Oregan!!! That was a 5 day drive in a Z which would have been fun, but I don't have that sort of time since I'll be down in San Diego mostly. So, I'm flying into Springfield (MO) from Los Angeles. Then heading upstate to Rolla to pick up my ride for the duration of the show. A silver 1993 2+2 with brand new suspension, 370Z wheels and loads of ot…

with my lpenum removal and gaskest and bits and pieces etc i was looking at the forum on smooth engine bays as i would ideally like to have alot of other stuff out of sight and showing pretty much just the plenum and cam covers. im also looking into getting some skins but i was wondering if any of you knew what in the engine bay could be removed or relocated to make my engine bay as tidy as possible :) i can see some of you have very nice smooth engine bays with little shown and wondered if you could advise on what you did for that result thanks guys

Was rather pleased with myself last night, finally found myself a really nice ZX N/A to use as a daily driver alongside the TT. Bid fair and square and got a good bairgain.. happy days. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290414899304&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123 E mailed the guy imediately after the auction to ask how he would like payment and when I could collect. Came home from work today to find an E mail saying as stated the car was advertised elsewhere and he had taken a better offer on the car, and adding "better luck next time" What a complete R sole. Negative feedback and a complaint to E bay on its way righ…

  11. Hi Chaps, as some of you may know from an earlier thread, I've recently fitted a Mongoose exhaust and since then I've had the dreaded smoking turbo at idle syndrome. Its thought that the change in exhaust back pressure has highlighted failing turbo oil seals on the exhaust side hence the light blue/grey smoke at idle only. Any how, since then and only since the exhaust change, I get an occasional pop/bang from the exhaust when I blip the throttle at idle. It is very infrequent, but still its a concern. It doesn't do it at high revs or on the move, only occasionally if I blip the thottle at warm idle. Could this be a result of turbo failure and the oil passing into…

Hi Dan, Following much deliberation i have decided to buy a Stillen TypeIII front lip - i know you mentioned on another thread that you have recently had a delivery so any orders would be subject to quite a long wait for delivery, Can you quote for one of the TT Type III lips with delivery mate? I know that they are on sale at the moment and would like to take advantage of that fact. Cheers bud Paul

  18. Hi Chaps, just wondering if any body has had quality issues with Mongoose exhausts for the Zed. I recently bought the 6x4 oval exhaust and have had to send it back because the ovals tips were different and it was quite noticable. They agreed to swap, but could only offer the quad exit which I agreed to. Just received the quad exit system to find the quad tips are about 1.5inch longer on one box to the other - poor quality? Or am I expecting to much for £500? I'm hoping I'll be able to line them up OK, but thats not the point. I bet those with a keen eye will notice that one back box is sitting futher in to compensate for the tips.

Saw Vodkashots yesterday for a few hours, he said he'd give me a hand with my targa A pillar pipe problem (pass footwell filling up when it rains). Despite all his problems (dont worry ian, i wont tell them about the socket...) he found time to stick his hand right up the bodywork and find the offending black collecting pipe that had come off. 10 mins later its back on the clear pipe and routing water where it should go, (why it drops it in the wing area is beyond us) So a BIG thanks to Ian. also, whilst there i'm talking about tailgate skins and low and behold, he pops up and brings one down, sold for a few beers and some clocks. To top it al…

Hi all, As above, i am doing this today, I have found some plastic bottle caps that will plug the holes nicely on the intercooler side, ( the ones on the air intake are done ) Would they be ok if i was to then fill em with fibre glass resin to make them hard and sturdy?? The open end would be facing out so no contaminant would get in.

These are a very bright bulb, could not be more pleased with them http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320498097429 I got them for £2.70 under auction from Hong Kong but notice they are bin for £2.99. :balloon: I have clear side markers with normally clear bulbs but thought I would see how a red bulb would look in there. Even wife stated how bright they were when i drove off today. Fully recommend them :thumbup1:
