as this car is only 15 mins from my house, i keep getting bits off it, front fogs, fuse box covers, small things like that. most recently i got the sun visors as they are better than mine and have the flap over the mirror on the pass side. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-FAIRLADY-300ZX-3-0-1993-Breaking-4-Spares_W0QQitemZ270547894543QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3efde9410f on talking to the breakers yard owner he tells me, it broke down in London, then it was lifted off the streets and then the owner never claimed it from a compound. he bought it of course complete as it stood for only £175.00, he had to go down for it though and bri…

any body fairly close to lowestoft with datascan or conzult that i could plug into???? the z is running a bit off when cold, rough idle and doesnt seem to have hardly any reaction to the throttle - boost gauge goes up a bit but doesnt hardly move, as soon as its warmed up or if left to warm fully the problem doesnt happen, had the butterfly valves cleaned out, changed the spark plugs and had a check over for leaks. could do with plugging in to see what it says?? any other ideas of what i could try???

Would a fiat punto turbo, supposedly done up to the nines. beat a 300zx twin turbo? i know its lighter. but from what I've seen so far. the top BHP for the punto is around 450BHP at stage 2 obviously weight is going to play a major factor too on this one.

You were northbound, from Northampton to Kettering and waved. Looked tidy but was only a quick look as I saw you pretty late.

Quick question, My zed has been lowered by 2" , now can someone who knows how the original suspension is set up, tell me the way or ways it might have been done. I would look under it if i could get my head under the car, and in any case, i probably wouldn't know what i was looking for.. Cheers Rich

Hi Guys, I've seen a lot of post enquiring how to swap a auto box with a manual one, now, if there was a car with a manual box who wanted an auto, is it a case of just swapping them over, or are extra parts required. Thanks Rich

my car doesnt have them and probably due to lazyness in its past. would i be better off leaving ot of getting them replaced? at the moment i can see the engine gets dirtier quicker and i presume cab noise would be louder but am i running major risks not having them on? obviously i am more careful around puddles and in the rain but i can still see it being an issue is i accidently hit a big puddle but on the plus side would cooling be better?

Every thing on my aircon pod, apart from my hazard light is dead? It's only that pod everything else works as intended? Iv checked all the fuses an none are blown is there a relay for the side pods I've missed somewhere? Was hoping to put the car infor it's Mot next week, but there is no point until I get my wipers working again. Is there something I've missed? I've checked the fuses in the drivers foot well and under the bonnet but can't see anything else.

I notice Bailey do a recirc valve, a DV30. Now I can not stand atmospheric dump valves for a huge list of reasons (I can't stress this enough), so the DV30 would be the only thing I'd go for if I were to replace my current aging OEM recirc valves. The Z32 TT isn't listed as one of its application fittings....but nor are any Japanese manufacturers listed. Just wondering if anyone's had any experience with these?

I have the japspeed exhaust system which was purchase from ebay by the previous owner. It has the X pipe in the middle which i believe to be restrictive as it reduces down into an X and looks visibly smaller than two 2.5inch pipes which is what the system starts out as. I believe this may be restricting my top end bhp. Now, can i purchase a centre section from somewhere which doesnt tail into an X that will fit my current setup? which makes and where from? anyone? maybe a H pipe would work? Thanks
