  2. Hi Chaps, just wondering if any body has had quality issues with Mongoose exhausts for the Zed. I recently bought the 6x4 oval exhaust and have had to send it back because the ovals tips were different and it was quite noticable. They agreed to swap, but could only offer the quad exit which I agreed to. Just received the quad exit system to find the quad tips are about 1.5inch longer on one box to the other - poor quality? Or am I expecting to much for £500? I'm hoping I'll be able to line them up OK, but thats not the point. I bet those with a keen eye will notice that one back box is sitting futher in to compensate for the tips.

Saw Vodkashots yesterday for a few hours, he said he'd give me a hand with my targa A pillar pipe problem (pass footwell filling up when it rains). Despite all his problems (dont worry ian, i wont tell them about the socket...) he found time to stick his hand right up the bodywork and find the offending black collecting pipe that had come off. 10 mins later its back on the clear pipe and routing water where it should go, (why it drops it in the wing area is beyond us) So a BIG thanks to Ian. also, whilst there i'm talking about tailgate skins and low and behold, he pops up and brings one down, sold for a few beers and some clocks. To top it al…

Hi all, As above, i am doing this today, I have found some plastic bottle caps that will plug the holes nicely on the intercooler side, ( the ones on the air intake are done ) Would they be ok if i was to then fill em with fibre glass resin to make them hard and sturdy?? The open end would be facing out so no contaminant would get in.

heres a sneaky peek, gave one a quick polish up... yep the whole wheel is a polished finish! Tyres all have about the same tread as above, wheels are in great condition, few scuffs and need a polish but well impressed! Did I say they were £250?  :tt2:

This is located at the back of the engine and has a small plug at the tapered end. Plug very green inside and very loose.

These are a very bright bulb, could not be more pleased with them http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320498097429 I got them for £2.70 under auction from Hong Kong but notice they are bin for £2.99. :balloon: I have clear side markers with normally clear bulbs but thought I would see how a red bulb would look in there. Even wife stated how bright they were when i drove off today. Fully recommend them :thumbup1:

Feel it's time for a freshen up 'maybe'. I've been thinking over in my head what to do. Initially, bayside blue....always wanted that colour! BUT, I think I'd want to start again from scratch if doing that and whites are really in at the moment. I should hopefully be getting a nice bonus toward the end of this year and due a payrise next month! So should have quite a bit more disposable income which I can throw at the Z. Plans are as follows....some of it goes against what I've said in the past, but since I'm updating, I think it should work well. For starters, the interior is staying untouched. Happy with that and will go well with the new paint. I want t…

Right o then folks, im upgrading my brakes soon and i have settled with something abit peculiar but when it all comes together it will be epic! Although the discs that i will get with the Calipers are going to have a centre diameter of 85mm where the Zed hub bore is only 73mm (IIRC) so they are going to be far too large :( Is there any way to get around this? i have looked at getting custom Disc bell but then the cost saving would be reduced considerably and would be a ball ache. PCD is no isue as i can drill new holes while retaining balence in the disc. Any thoughts are most welcome. by the way the discs will be 350mm x 34mm but that doesnt change anything …

in a twin turbo, is this a good idea? before the NA blew it had a brand new exeedy clutch kit, i was fully happy to use the clutch and flywheel from my na on my new twin turbo because i was told the exeedy clutch was rated to 400bhp, however im getting conflicting advice now, the TT engine i now have is missing the flywheel and would require a pressure plate too.....what to do?

Its well past time I replaced my air filters. Most on here recommend Apexi filters, but as I have a twin cone set up that would mean buying two...a bit costly given the price they are going for. Also more importantly I dont think they would fit the adaptor I have as they are just too wide. After hunting around I can get AEM Dryflow filters with the dimensions I need. So far all the write ups I have seen have been from the states but seem to be pretty positive. Has anyone had any dealings with AEM kit, quality etc ?
