  1. my car doesnt have them and probably due to lazyness in its past. would i be better off leaving ot of getting them replaced? at the moment i can see the engine gets dirtier quicker and i presume cab noise would be louder but am i running major risks not having them on? obviously i am more careful around puddles and in the rain but i can still see it being an issue is i accidently hit a big puddle but on the plus side would cooling be better?

Every thing on my aircon pod, apart from my hazard light is dead? It's only that pod everything else works as intended? Iv checked all the fuses an none are blown is there a relay for the side pods I've missed somewhere? Was hoping to put the car infor it's Mot next week, but there is no point until I get my wipers working again. Is there something I've missed? I've checked the fuses in the drivers foot well and under the bonnet but can't see anything else.

  4. I notice Bailey do a recirc valve, a DV30. Now I can not stand atmospheric dump valves for a huge list of reasons (I can't stress this enough), so the DV30 would be the only thing I'd go for if I were to replace my current aging OEM recirc valves. The Z32 TT isn't listed as one of its application fittings....but nor are any Japanese manufacturers listed. Just wondering if anyone's had any experience with these?

Hi, my searches so far seem to indicate that I have to take the intake plenum off to get all the throttle gear off.... i want to replace the fuel hose under the throttle bar right at the front of the engine... need alien fingers... lol... any advise?..... cheers.

  7. I have the japspeed exhaust system which was purchase from ebay by the previous owner. It has the X pipe in the middle which i believe to be restrictive as it reduces down into an X and looks visibly smaller than two 2.5inch pipes which is what the system starts out as. I believe this may be restricting my top end bhp. Now, can i purchase a centre section from somewhere which doesnt tail into an X that will fit my current setup? which makes and where from? anyone? maybe a H pipe would work? Thanks

been looking at the polishing threads by the andy's etc and am going to try this myself as i am fairly practical. now i can see the tools needed but i dont understand half of them what do the numbers referred to as 80, 100, 120 mean? is it grade or thickness? also if i am going to be polishing alot of metal (including plenum) i can see some bench polishers for around £60 but they are only 200w, will this be enough? also i have a dremel but not got any of the attachments but my worry is that the dremel will keep stopping as they are small and not too powerful... would a power drill with the attachments be ok? do i start of with 80 or 120? i kn…

Disconnect the waist gate on my turbos, will it stop them pumping smoke into the exhaust as my drivers side turbo only kicks out smoke when on boost. so i can get it through its MOT and get the car TAX? then i can sort out the turbo at a later date. reason i ask, is i had two police around my car today. and when i asked if everything was ok, they informed me that the housing association who kindly housed me recently. has given DVLA permission to clamp and remove untaxed cars. and i need to either get the car moved. or garaged quick. So, im now in the process of getting a garage sorted out. BUTTTT would ideally like it to be taxed and MOT'ed then i can work on the oth…

My car has had a squeeky brake for a while now, so hopefully tomorrow I will be putting some copper grease on to sort that out. The car has also developed another squeeking noise... It mainly occures when warmed up and when going slowly round a corner (mainly when I turn left). The sounds is not a gringing noise but like a 2 parts moving against each other without any oil or grease on them. It can also be felt throught the streering wheel. Any ideas ?
