Following on from some advice given on here, I am undecided as to which Stillen front lip would look best on my car. My car is in black - see first picture: Here are the options: Stillen GTZ extension - see second picture or Stillen type III lip - see last picture. I am leaning towards the type III as it looks as if it sits a little lower than the GTZ. My only concern is that i dont know if the front will start to look a bit too "busy" especially when you consider that a number plate has to go on there too. What do you lot think? any other suggestions? I am trying to keep the swage line running from front to back. Cheers p…

i need to fit a catch tank, im getting lots of blow by gases when cornering on track and now that im pushing more boost i get loads when i turn it up. at 17 psi its fine though. Whos fitted one? i know there has been some talk about re routing the pcv system, im not going this route, maybe when i next have the plenum off i could do, but for now im going to fit a catch tank. Can someone also mention what size and how many take offs it needs Thanks James.

Is there an easy way to search ebay for private plates/cherished numbers? On dealer sites you can search names, numbers etc to find a choice of plate but not on ebay, just distance, time ending etc. Is there a search facility to save trawling through 000's of plates?

Hmmm. Am I being silly here and my inner F&F side shining through, or is NOS a good idea on a Z? Someone on a local forum is selling this kit:- "Nitrous Express kit, comes with 15 lb bottle (which is empty), nitrous solenoid, fuel solenoid and purge solenoid, hosing and connectors, instructions, assorted fixings and wiring, shark nozzle with various jets. Basically everything you require to install nitrous and run it. Bought it never fitted it as you are not legally allowed to take it into Germany" Can have it for £150. I've never had or even been in a car with NOS before, but like the idea of it. Do Z engines handle it ok? will it …

My exhausts have been on the way out for a while and yesterday they started to blow quite bad, so today after all the Mothers day crap, I set to work and took the zausts off, I was very surprised how clean she is underneath, I jet washed all the mud and crap off and exposed a near new underbody, a little rust has formed on the suspension arms but that simply rubs off, so she is now going in the garage with a blow heater and ready for waxoyl, not bad for a 15 year old jap girl :tongue_smilie: Exhausts are quite good really, they have blown around the centre boxs, so will be getting welded until some stainless one`s get made

Hey guys. I'm from sunny Scotland (ahem). I've noticed a good looking 300zx tt in Bristol. It's at autobargains nailsea. Bit of a cheeky request but is there anyone who lives close to this garage that would be willing to check it out for me? I'm desperate for another z32, as I wrote my last one off. This looks like a good example but I don't want to travel all that way and it's a dog. I went to London a few months ago after speaking to the garage who assured me it was 'mint'! When I got there it was full of rust, tyres bald, wrong sizes and smoke coming out exhaust when driving!! Was not very happy!!! I'd really appreciate it. Thanx in advance.

The other day Atlast (sean) popped over to help me with my exhaust, after chatting he had ordered some new front shocks as it was thought one was knackerd. I took his zed for a drive. All i can say it was like riding a bucking bronco, really bad bordering danger to drive He has been doing them today and i returned the favour to help him. On removal of the 'bad shock' it was quite apparent that this was about as bad as it can get. No this has not been taken at a funny angle, the main strut should be totally straight, as you can see it clearly isnt. Word of warning to us all. If you suspect you have a problem with your shocks, investigate why!!!!! and sort it out…
