Hi, Just gathering info at the moment, have an n/a auto at the minute but going think Iam going to put a TT in with a manual box, what would you say the cost would be? going to do the work myself. Do I need the tt loom, ecu, prop shaft? are the engine mounts the same and what things needs to be altered on the car to get the engine in? Thanks everyone, Mark:biggrin:

Well i went away yesterday and got this:D! ... ... ... Set of yesterday at 11am to the airport for my flight to belfast and got the 5pm ferry to scotland then a 2 hour drive home. Not had a chance to get some nice photos of the car myself as i got home late, so planning on goin ga nice long drive down the coast today and hopefully take some photos along the way. What can i say i personally think i got a cracking car and a price i was happy to pay. The body work is very clean and there is no rust from what i could see as i stuck my head right under and prodded around. Im very pleased with the performance and handling of the car, …

Love em or hate em, these arrived from Luke at the Z-Centre today, I`m just waiting for my chrome bezel rings to turn up and then attach back in the vert. They change colour too from green to blue with a dimmer!!! I have connected them to a 12v supply to illuminate, but not connected the car loom, so the needles wont illuminate till in the car, but you get the general effect  Hope you like. :hammer:

Am sure they won't of had one last night tho as the tosser had dropped a wrap of cocaine by the side of the car door (wrapped in a bank reciept, lol) Shame it had been raining, as the print on it had gone it just had the LOYDS TSB heading left on it. I always put V-power in my Z but the other day my local Shell had completely run dry of it. There's a BP up the road, so I put a tenner of Ultimate in the tank to tide me over (for a day!) until the V-Power was back. but oddly enough I found myself being careful with the boost today just because I had mainly 97 in the tank. am I just being over-cautious (running about 17.5psi) and is 97 pretty much ok to use with the majority of Zs?

Just a few quickies! Wheels: How tight do people torque their nuts too? Oil: How much oil would it take, approximately, to raise the oil level from 'low' to 'high' on the clairvoyant divining rod... oops... I mean dipstick? :turned: Oil: Do people usually break in an oil change over x many miles? Sure I read something along those lines whilst browsing forum ... Bodywork: The front badge panel, is it a little wonky on all zeds, or does it just require a little adjustment? Changed my oil on the weekend for some 10w40 mobil 1 super s, all sounds a lot smoother. But what exactly is the knack to reading the dipstick? Is it a best out of 5 affair? This is …

Some beautiful shots of a recently resprayed swb zed in the OEM original Pearlglow yellow. I think it looks fantastic, well in these shots anyways. The photographer says that he believes that it was a premium option available only in 1990. Now I know I'm dreaming again, but when I consider that mine was originally this colour and it is a 1990 model, would it possibly be a better option to go back to the original colour rather than a black respray, leave the original bumper, forget about a 99 spec rear spoiler and forget about the 99 spec rearlight cluster. With the exception of the wheels, there is very little that doesn't look well in these images. Anybody agree?

There is one beautiful Zed being built in the US. Its a wide arch and on his concept on page 1, I just wonder has he taken inspiration from any members car on here? One in particular springs into my mind, even though there may be a difference in lenght http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3056793

Hi all, A few weeks ago i noticed that my car would make a humming noise just as i approached 3,000 rpm and then it would go as i carried on up the rev range. This has now got a bit more prominent! Is it possibly a wheel beaaring? it seems like its coming from the left rear ( thats the side that i have noticed that my tyre is wearing on the inside ) Any ideas are welcome. Dan.

Good Afternoon Folks I have a 1995 300ZX Fairlady TT Automatic with 60K on the clock. Over the last number of months the car has developed the following problem. On occassions when I switch the ignition on the engine makes no attempt to turn over. Generally if you switch the ignition off and try again in a few minutes the car will start. However yesterday it would not start at all. I removed the battery and replaced it with another one from my brothers car. Still no joy. All the electrics are working but no attempt is being made to turn the engine over (no sound for starter motor). Any help greatly appreciated. :confused1:
