I was in my m8 lancer the other day and he has gauges and pods everywhere. To much to be honest lol! Anyway I was wandering if there is anything like that you can buy for a na zed? Obviously boost gauges are out but do things like air fuel ratio meter or apexi afc devices work with a na? Cheers

  4. Its come to light this evening that some types of caliper mounting brackets could be unsafe! the ones in question are the same as attached to my TT and if the majority of the votes say they are NOT safe i will be removing them!! I purchsed the Evo brembo calipers, discs and mounting brackets 3rd hand from a member and had no worries when attaching them to my car, I did ask for a 2nd opinion from my mate in the fabrication trade to see if the were ok, we both said as the bolt is going right through the bracket and into the caliper it could never come off even in the unlikley event of the weld breaking! Please dont think i am trying to defend my self, i need to kn…

  9. Hi guys, Finally put my car on the dyno yesterday. Fuelling is looking good but one thing that's been pretty obvious for a while and is now even more obvious is that the wastegates are opening too early, even with the Apex boost controller maxed out. The tubs are hybrids based on the stock items and should be good for at least 400HP, boost is not quite making 1 bar on the dyno altho it can get to just over a bar on the road. Anyone aware of any aftermarket or uprated actuators being available?? Alternatively, is a bodge possible with stronger springs? There's plenty of duty left to spare in the injectors (555cc), they didn't get above 65%. Max corrected HP …

Just wanted to make a thread to make everyone aware of the great workmanship and service carried out by none other than Zedworld! Well, after having my car locked away for almost a year without starting it since the auto box packed up – I decided on an auto-manual conversion & an MOT from Zedworld. So, after a 400mile round trip to Tamworth, I collected my car yesterday :D When I arrived Jamie took me out in my Z with the trade plates on as soon as I got down to see what I thought of the change, the car drives like a dream and pulls like a train now! – No more worries about the cars reliability, my faith in my car has been restored! They also…

OK My car currently has a set of springs on it, however the front sits at a brilliant height and the tyres just tuck into the arches nicely, but the back has about 3 inches between the tyres and the arches. I'm not sure of the brand of springs on my car, but I want the back to drop as low as the front- I know springs are a funny one and tend to result in a rear or front biased drop but does anybody know of a set of springs for the 300 which will give a nice even low drop? Having had about 6 sets of really expensive coilovers I don't think I'm interested in going down this route again as the road to my work is too unforgiving (potholes, raised drains, cracked tarmac the wo…

Interesting one this that I think may be of interest to some, the enthusiastic owner of this nice twin turbo zed bought it from a dealer before Christmas, however from day one it was not quite right somehow and over the past few months the running issues had got worse. However a more pressing water leak issue and heater matrix failure developed recently and hence why we got involved. The main water leak was quickly established as a pin holed steel water matrix pipe, and a very, very leaky matrix. The matrix and pipe where subsequently changed, the extremely rusty brown water we flushed from the system was more than likely a contributor to the two leaks. So tha…

Iv'e got a weak clicking from one of my injectors and the piston isn't firing. Ive checked for spark & its fine. Is there a way of testing the injector electronically (Multimeter). If I do go for injector replacement and pull the plenum, what seals gaskets etc will I require & where's the best place to purchase them? Many thanks.
