Next month I will be sorting out the bodywork on my new Z and the finish I want is exactly the same as the following picture. I know its the 99 spec rear spoiler, but also I think I need to buy the perspex strip below it along with the 'Nissan Fairlady Z' and 'Twin Turbo' decals. I seen the perspex strip on that very site, but its only listed as 'without brake light'. Now - I have a high level brake light so does this mean I lose it? Or can I source a perspex strip with an insert for the light? Also, does anyone know where I can source that exact fairlady Z decal to finish off the strip and also the twin turbo decal for the other end? Hope you g…

Hi Guys Plan on fitting chromed Power steering reservoir, thought good opportunity to drain and replace power steering fluid. Whats the best method? Thought about removing one of the pipes on the steering rack and letting it drain out, will this drain the Hicas as well? Whats the best process to do all this, are there any gaskets/seals i will need to complete? Can i use power steering pump to pump the fluid out for me and will this drain HIcas, will it blow it out too quickly, can the motor run without fluid as it drains? All advice appreciated Regards Kev

how many have had their cars weighed properly (corner weight scales)? I'd be interested to see what they weighed in at. Had a full alignment done today and had the car corner weighted at the same time... 1467Kg with a full tank (minus 8 litres), welded in 10point FIA spec chromoly cage, minimal interior (seats, harnesses, dash, centre console back to arm rest).

Hi can anyone help, my car alarm/immobaliser is playing up - sometimes it locks sometimes it doesn't which is not the main problem. The main problem is when it won't UNLOCK. The car is also de-locked so you can see my problem when im stood in Wickes car park, fob in hand and the car won't unlock. I've put a brand new battery in the fob and the light on the fob is nice and bright, is there anything else i can check? Cheers Mark

Right, got a little problem my front tyres are wearing heavily on the inside edge. The car is lowered on springs with stock shocks. Apart from that its on standard suspension. What do I need to fix the problem? :) I think its down to the lowering, and I assume its adjustable top arms?? I really dont have much of a clue with suspension to be honest! The rears are fine and dandy, just the fronts are quite bad. I think its whats contributing to its slight occasional nervousness on the front end! Help thank you please :)

Hi Guys, can anyone tell me how to adjust the cable tension on the fuel flap release? Through a bizarre accident the cable has stretched or pulled off of a mount somewhere. End result - the catch won't disengage. Makes refueling very difficult

Here goes, I have an Arc Super Induction Box. I need to replace the Air Filters. This Box uses 2 Panel filters rather than 1, so these would be the ARC replacement filters, but then I need to know which filter I need, then to order 2 of them I presume.. The thing is, I imagine with this kit, and with out cars being old now, I only get up pictures of the newer Arc induction box, so I'm worried incase I place an order for some filters and the wrong ones arrive... Has anyone any experience with this induction kit/ordering filters for it..(I doubt anyone has).. But the closest I believe I have came to finding the correct filters is from Newera... Does anyon…

I fitted a navan auto shifter the other day and it looks great. The only problem is im not sure if my overdrive switch is working. It was easy to fit with just a small connector and job was done. I tried the gears up and down before I fitted all the surround back but didn't check the overdrive. When I click the overdrive the light isn't coming on on the dash! My next problem is I have no insurance at the moment so I can't go down the road and check if its working or not :headvswal Can it just be the light isn't working but the overdrive is or could it be the switch in the knob itsself? Not to fussed if the light works or not as long as the overdrive does. Any ideas? …

My tail lights are LED now, so with LEDs using a lower voltage, there is less load going through the tail light circuit, which in effect is causing the 'LIGHTS' dash warning to come on lol.. I am wanting to put a resistor in the line to prevent this, rather than taking the bulb out.. Anyone know the voltage I may need?.. Or do I need to somehow find out what the voltage across the whole array of LEDs is consuming? Any help appreciated, CheerZ!
