Majorly massive thanks, for letting me disect his engine in his garage at daft O'clock in the morning last night, and lending me a part, true geezer! :duffer: :duffer: :duffer:

K**JJN blue z soft top,parked in a driveway.northway,morden. surrey?

as above the engine check light is on, but the ecu will not go into diagnostic mode?? car is also hesitating under throttle??? so can barely drive it. any ideas how to reset the ecu, tried bat disconnect for over an hour... still the same.

So what is it? :biggrin:easy one if you have been about the last few days, vertual pint for the fist correct answer :duffer:

i have always had a intermitant speedo it works fine then it will just stop and then at some point just come back on any ideas and where - how to fix ?? thanks mark

Hi all Well after a house move and a new addition to the family last summer, I've not been on here for a while! Drove my Zed at the weekend for the first time since last August and getting behind the wheel again got me to log back on here. So what's been going on? Any highlights to save me trawling through the past 6 months of posts? I spotted Nico's old car had been purchased and Craig had been posting again (and there seemed to be some worrying pics of Jimmer all over the place :laugh: ) I'm defintely planning to get to some meets this year! :thumbup1: Good to be back! Hi all, this seems a bit of a wimpy question compared to others but, having just purchased a full interior including seats, door cards etc, how easy is it to fit? I've accessed the write up about removing door cards elsewhere on the site but what about dash trim, rear passenger seats, trim etc? Any assistance much appreciated. Regards

right im just toying with the idea at the moment, but i saw a photo of a 1969 corvette in a colour called riverside gold metallic and i think the zed would look great in it, id like anyone opinion on this, i was thinking with a carbon bonnet and spoiler along with some black rims would look great, im i the only one?

I cant find it, do i have to literally take the ecu out or dismantle it? Even on google searches i cant find an image of it plugged in anywhere. TIA Mark

currently having hicas issues, for some reason at speed, the rear wheel steering activates, now, is there a way to disable the hicas, until i get the driftworks elimination kit.

As per title, noticed a nasty melting plastic smell, and smoke rising from behind my dial housing. undid the screws and lifted off the dials top cover to find my EL inverter sitting there smoking away like a trooper. as it was way to hot to handle i had to let it cool down. its now removed from the car, but it now means my dials no longer light up. Now the EL dials had been playing up recently, not dimming or anything and only being "on" but not very bright. shall i just put this down to it wearing out and just get another or could there be something more sinister at work? Not really keen on spending £25 to replace it, just for it to happen again, but on the ot…

I noticed a vacum pipe off today, just wondered were it goes and whats it for pics below. does it go here, found a little tube, which a pipe could go on. Right, having a major travesty, got car on the lifter, removed exhaust, box, eyc. to remove the EGR and fit my new downpipes, ready to fit, but.... The passenger side turbo bottom oil feed coming straight out the block, has a metal 'block' type elbow/adapter, to which the banjo to the turbo fastens too, the 'block' was never screwed in properly, infact i'm suprised it wasn't leaking, I literally just touched it with a spanner and it popped out. The thread on it is a bit goosed, not only that, I have to remove the ******* turbo as there isn't room to turn it and screw it into the block otherwise.... Anyways, long story short, I'm wondering if there is anyone near…

Hey, I am curious to know how many of you guys if any have issues going over humps while driving the 300zx. I know a guy who has to go sideways on humps cause he is too low, i didnt really want to do that. All humps are HUGE in london! Aj
