what the size of the maf and air filter conections? just i need to turn my airfilter 90 degrees so going to get a stainles steel bend for it

Nearing the end of my rust replacement with new steel,:laugh: The only major area left is the rear arch around the filler neck.:wacko: As I will have to do a lot of welding in this area I will need to take the tank out.:excl: Is it much of a job? Mate of mine has just got a 200SX & is starting to mod it. He has just picked up a cheap AVCR but it has no pressure sensor or solenoid valve - does anyone have any of these parts available or know anyone that can get spare parts? Thanks :)

I've fitted the 330mm discs and the 8 pot calipers :) look the bees knees :) I have some issues tho :( 1. There is loads of travel when you apply the brake, but if you release and and apply again it's a lot firmer, still not as firm as I'd like the pedal to be but definatly better. (This is when the car is travelling) 2. When you brake at any speed above 60mph I get major steering wheel shake :( at first I thought a wheel was coming off, but they were fine when checked. All the bleeding was done on the front and rear but we didn't bleed the the whole system. I'm wondering if It could be rust on the hub that's not allowing the disc to sit flush? …

Car drove fine with no problems only last weekend. Drove up from London to Stoke last night and performance was fine...was only when I pulled into some services and it got quieter that I noticed there was quite a loud clicking/tapping noise coming from the engine. Seems to get louder and faster with revs. Can't think what it might be and as I said, performance doesn't seem to have been affected but very disconcerting, especially as I have to drive all the way back down to London tomorrow! ive had my ztt for about 6 years now problem free,past every mot with no bother, anyway i was washing it the other day and got the hose pipe caught around the pipe so i went to the back of the car to un tangle it and noticed a shine on pipe!! so i got on my hands a knees and got to scrubbing it,to my delight it came up like new,wot a shine,in all those years i thought it was black..how dumb was i ???? lmao

anybody replaced them? is it easy enough to do and where is the cheapest place to get them as it scared the shit out of me from courtesy nissan @ $240 each plus shipping plus import duty!!!!

Just a quick question, I have Plasma dials fitted bot want to change the normal dash bulbs for LED. I had an advisory last mot for drivers side upper link arm which is fully adjustable would i have to replace both sides as i dont want to go back to standard ones or have to fit new both sides?

The door lock on the drivers side has a small plastic quadrant on the end of the key barrel that can break and leave the key and central locking inoperative, locking the drivers door and using the passenger door to get in and out is a royal pain but is the only way unless you fit an alarm with the central locking option. So why not just buy the offending part and replace it, well in Nissan's wisdom they decided that they would only sell the part connected to a brand new key and barrel so a small piece of plastic becomes a £60 wallet hit. But there is an option which with a little work is free and will get you drivers door lock and central locking fully working a…

Problem being my steering... at times it under responds. for example the steering wheel turns more than the driving wheels do. secondly,the steering goes from normal weight, to very light quite often. and thirdly. at times the steering wheel will turn either more to the left or more to the right at higher speeds, so much so that the steering wheel is almost 1/4 turned when going straight. but this gradually reduces as the speed does. what the hell is wrong with it??

Hi, I have two problems if any one could give me some advice would be brill. First one, is the oil pressure gauge has been working fine, but now is slow and on idle only goes up to about 40psi will go up when revved but only half way up, dont want to **** the engine by driving it:-( engine sounds fine and no noise when revved ect any way of checking the gauge might have give up but Iam quite new to zeds lol. Second one, is some times the revs will go up to just under 2k and when this happens you get a little white smoke out the back not loads, the revs will come back down its like something is sticking open. any help would be great. cheers mark

hi peeps just a quick one has any body ever mesured the sise of the bleed bolt on the rad as i was bleeding my rad put the blasted thing some where safe ond can i now find it like hell can i think little one may of picked it up as she was in the gge with me i think its about 12mil but could some one have a mesur up please so i can put a new one in thank :taz:

You let me out of Tesco on the way home from work today was shocked to see another Zed on the road! Was looking tidy in white :)

ive been fitting led reverse lights today .firstly fitted them into centre panel all nice and neat . then gave them a test on the bench (kitchen worktop ) connected up to car battery charger and they light up a treat . took down and fitted to the car and checked for live feed and earth . using the green and black wires that connect to original reverse lights . select reverse with ignition on and getting a good circiut until i connect to the new lights and nothing . now the lives are going where they should and good earths but no light . has anybody got any ideas what im missing here . its so straight forward yet im completely stumped why the lights work fine on 12volts in…

Will not start been parked since november waiting for time to replace the alternator belt was in dayly use every day before that. alternator belt replaced battery was flat jump leads on but will not start? checked for errors on ecu have no errors have code 55. fuell pump ok has it smells to petrol whit trying to start sometimes it almost starts has revs pick up to 450rpm but then nothing ? already cleaned all conectors from CAS and PTU any ideas apreciated. I had to jump start my 1993 n/a zed from its winter hibernation today. I last started the car 2 months ago and everything was fine. The zed is always kept in a garage, but today when it fired up it just didn't sound right. The car seemed to lurch sideways as it started and I could hear popping sounds from the exhaust. I let it warm up and drove it round town for about 10 minutes. It went ok but something wasn't running right. There wasn't any hesitation as such it just didn't sound or feel normal. Hello Z lovin buddies ! I have no clue how many on here still remmember me from back in the day - but i was the original founder of this site and community back in 98. how times have a changed...
