Anyone know this zed? Only got a quick glimpse of the back of it parked up in a driveway as I went past in the van - anyones on here. As above was a red ah3 ish colour (it was dark lol), J plate, 99 spec rear lights. Looked pretty tidy from the back - will drive past again when I'm out that way for another look.

I am thinking of having my black zed resprayed, but I wanted to take off all panels to get at any rust that may be hiding. Is this a daunting job for an amature zed lover?

Hey, I've recently broken my drivers seat up and down function.....might have asked it to lift too much weight. Pressing the rear knob left (to go up) results in horrible clicking, the seat tries to climb, but whatever gears lift it have broken. It will lift if I'm not sitting on it, with only the occasional gear clicking noise. Anyone know if this is repairable? I don't think the base of the seat is flat right now, maybe tilted slightly and perhaps giving me back pain! Or I'm just getting old. :wheelchair:

We are all having to accomodate Nissan`s insane price rises but today even I was surprised to see the retail price of a 300zx oil filter is now £11:75! Seems like no time at all ago the retail price was around £5.00 so lucky we buy in large amounts and in advance, however the price rise will catch up with us soon I guess, thats the trouble with fixed menu pricing that we have always done, more pressure on our supplier to get the price down then:angry: Jeff TT

I'm short on ideas. Ran the code....got a 55. Did it on 2 different ECUs. My car sits at 6 psi. I've ran pressure test. Nothing HISSING. Even tried to run my hand over the pipes to Feel the air...nothing. The only thing I could think of, is that I installed SSQV on the intercooler intake pipes.....and never blocked of the stock BOVs. But would that really be the issue?

Hicas arm/ rod replacements a common issue that will at some time effect all twin turbo`s with the hicas rear steering fitted. Once the wear has been correctly identified as the arms rather then the outer bush changing them is fairly straight forward but it helps to have the correct tools and parts at hand. (17 mm spanner, side cutters 2 x30 mm spanner, 1 pair of grips, split pins, hicas arms 2 x cable ties ball splitter) The outer rod end has a spilt pin that needs removing, then undo the 17 mm securing nut, a ball splitter helps with parting the rod end from the outer bush. The gaiters are held in place by wire clips, cut this with a…
