After moving my pump "POT" to the rear of the engine bay and extending the pipes its been doing a little whining!! I`ve filled it up again to the level and when i turn the car off its overflowing from the cap?? any suggestions why its doing that? cheerZ

I have a S2 and i might be buying some s1 doors. so what are the differances and can it be done? wireing loom what about the top catch on the s1 door, can i put my s2 door trim in ?? Cheers guys :)

ok after getting the ok from the other half to get new seats (the ones steve was selling but i decided not to go for) called my mate to get me a quote on getting mine retrimmed £500. im thinking just black leather with orange stitching and fairlady Z stitched into the seats what do you think? lets see pics of seats you have

It's not a zed question, but was hoping more people may see it here! I've just done some work for a friend on a Mk2 Clio, it failed on a bunch of things, including off side brake light out, and centre high level not working. Now, the centre high level is a sealed LED unit, which is 30 odd quid + VAT, if the other 2 brake lights are working, will it still fail? Is it a case of 'if it is there it has to be working'? Can I just take it out and leave a hole there for the MOT? Cover it up with gaffer tape? It's booked in for tomorrow, just wondering if it'll pass! Cheers, Tudor...

As above, cant remember what type it is, is it H1 or H3? need to know as Artztogo needs to get the correct one. he has a japspec, i know about the H3 mod, but would rather just get the correct hid kit straight off.

Hi, When i turn my ignition on to the 2nd click all the warning lights come on as normal except the seat belt one, start the car and they all go out as they should, but when i put my seat belt on the warning light stays on. Basicly does the opposite of what it should. Any ideas? Thanks Brian.

My window won't operate at all and I'm led to believe that this is a common 'Z' problem. The motor and switch have been checked and appear ok so is the problem with the regulator? If so, can it be rectified or is a new one required. Cheers!

OK.. Im not the richest guy out there, but after spending months turning this over in my head I'm on the brink of sending a very large sum of money for this item: To me it's the perfect 300zx spoiler, there's other cheaper options I COULD go for.. but I know in myself I wouldn't feel 100% happy. So the question is, is it worth me shelling out over 800 pounds for one of these? It's the only way I can get it, to get veilside jpn to custom make me one and ship it over (lead time of 4 months if shipped by air and 6 months by sea (inc. 2 months creation time)... I know I'd be delighted with it.. but it's as much as you could get some 18x10 bbs lm's or …

Noticing GT28's can be had for reasonable money. a) would it be worth fitting them over stock? b) I assume the only supporting mods needed are bigger intercoolers, bigger injectors (what size?), 5 bolt elbows and a tune up? c) if running them on an otherwise stock engine what kind of power and torque increases can I expect?

I've fitted a Apexi AVC-R which was bought used and fitted on the weekend. I had to bring the car to work today because I've got brake disc run-out after fitting the K-sports (but that's another story!) and on my way in I put my foot down at 80mph in 5th and as soon as the rev counter hit 4000rpm the rev counter would just shoot up and the car would sound as if it was over reving, which i'm suspecting is over boosting? It seemed fine through the other gears. Does anyone know the settings for the AVC-R so I can set it to just run the cars standard boost/psi or do you think it may be that there is a setting that needs to be adjusted that changes the rev band in top gea…

I need to get my car to Zedworld. Im around 5 miles from them. My usual recovery man wants £50 to do it. Is it me or is that a little excessive? The front bumper got damaged when he got the car from Bristol for me too. Ive gone much futher for £30 in the past, i know the fuel has gone up but still... Anybody know of somewhere cheap?

Quick one on either side of the NA engine there is a sensor/solenoid what are they for? The new engine didnt have either and from my engine i can see one seems to be for the EGR which would mean that the engine wont need that one as EGR delete has been done and not sure if the other one is to do with fuel as one of the lines goes into the fuel damper. Hi, Was reversing out of my road today, at very low speed, I heard a clunk and abit of a jerk and the car was stuck in reverse, turned engine off and the gear released drove it up the road and the gearbox seems fine selects all gears, havent drove it far since, any idea what happened. i need to pull my plenum and do my rocker cover gaskets etc at some point soon.... when i find time. how much should i expect to pay out for parts? and how much would you expect for a garage to do the work...? id like to do it myself but cba to bust a gut to save a few quid. was also thinking about a 60 or 120 thousand mile service kits. any one got any ideas price wise to this aswel?

Since John Dixon setup my car at Emerald, I never got round to fixing the switch to be able to switch between the three maps that are available, fitted it today and thought it would be good reason to update some photos.

Hi Has anyone come across a place that sells repair panels, or just sill repair panels for a SWB ? I´ve come across a few places and "spoke" to a few people that just do the sill repair panels for a LWB but no one seems to do the SWB. any tips or info as always greatly appreciated. Maz :o)

Hi everyone, Air con compressor not working, fuses and relay coil are ok but relay not pulling in. I have removed relay and checked for voltage to the coil legs when the auto button is pressed, there is no voltage. where does the feed come from before the relay? I can hear a faint click and there is an increase in revs but nothing else.

Hi all, I'm probably being a bit of a mong but how the heel does this thing go together? I've read the how to guide and that seems fairly simple but how does the 2 bits of the kit go together? Sorry if this is a simple 1, feel free to rip the p1ss at will haha Rob
