had my eye on this one for a few days, tryed a few of the compare insurance sites and when i type the reg no in it says its a twin turbo model?

looks a nice car but am a bit put off by this espicially seeing as he claims the car is bog standard with no mention of turbos

sounds like a great car, and its definately an NA lol.

 

My NA is on the logbook as a 'Fairlady Turbo' - the previous owner told me all of them seem to be registered as this so that could be where the confusion is coming from.

The insurance companies pull records from the dvla database from what's on the V5 , and on imports its usually incorrect. Your lucky it even comes up as 300zx

had a look,none turbo fairlady,very clean inside and out,underneath very clean.engine bay and engine clean too, sounds nice,nice origanal car,insurance about £150 com..got his number if you want it,let me know.....good luck.

Car is now sold to someone that knew exactly what they wanted.

 

Got to say it was an absolute peach of a motor and I am gutted to have sold it, but am moving on to try something different. Sold for £2100, totally original car, flawless paint and interior, new clutch, cambelt, service history, etc.

 

For the enquiries I did get, not quite sure that people are after these days.

 

One guy came to see it and couldn't fault it and then said he was not sure about the colour!!! Could he not have said that before coming all the way over and wasting both our time?

 

Another guy came in a ratty old Z, big 'zorst and F1 sized spoiler, but with bald tyres and rusty arches and wanted to give me £1000 plus his 'sorted Z which only needs a few quid spending on it'

 

All quite hilarious really, but ulitmately a good insight into selling a Z.

 

I'm sure I'll return to the fold in the future, just fancy a change for the mo.
