If you have ever removed a Zed brake caliper for replacement or painting etc, I have always got annoyed by the brake fluid that can seep from the lines and caliper, recently I sent off a set of Brembo calipers to have painted by Brake Caliper Specialists in Nottingham so had this issue again. Not a particularly exciting thread, but anyone with OCD might like it. :lol: Had my original wiper arms refurbished years ago and they held up well, still look great. Always fancied a set of UK wipers. Well, a driver side anyway although to make sure they matched, I had both powder coated a matte black. Main issue was to get the plastic spoiler recoated. Took a lot of sanding down to get rid of all the chips and marks that it had picked up on its previous life. It turns out that the front near side brake line runs beneath the battery tray and sits on a shoulder of the inner wing. It's a moisture trap. There's a dog leg in the way the line is run that puts it right in the wrong place. On Wednesday last week on my way to Halfords to buy a car cover I was on the A3 and my brakes failed COMPLETELY ! The brake line has rusted through and let go with no warning. Mine's an auto so I had to click back to 2 and 1 from D and then into N and apply the handbrake. It's not something I'll want to repeat ! Hi there I am in urgent need of a Squib / slip ring to get my car through the mot. I ordered one on ebay which turned out to be wrong. I also visited a scrap yard today and removed a squib which was also the wrong one so went away empty handed. On my Zed there is a single sub loom near the battery area with a square connector similar to an injector connector which has been left unplugged, anyone know the function of this? The sub loom is just to the right of the oil dipstick where it comes off the main loom, and is pretty much in-line with the balance bar if you're looking from the battery side.

Recently have had trouble with a misfire, problem was a combination of gunk in injector connectors and an out of spec S1 TT injector. Often I can spend a lot of time trying to navigate nissan4u.com and not find what I’m looking for. So I thought I’d start this post to help people like me, who aren’t very good at looking up part numbers, utilise the knowledge and experience some of you amazing people have.

This may be hoping beyond hope but can anyone confirm if the rubbers for the rear three-quarter glass are available as a separate part ? There're obviously manufactured separately so perhaps they might be sourced from wherever Nissan sourced them ? Hi All, been a while since I've posted, new house purchase has done it's best to keep me away! The car lately has been idling terribly and stuttering badly when at low throttle and driving. At mid to full throttle, the car runs as well as it always has. all 6 cylinders run smooth at higher throttle. I know the engine has poor compression on one cylinder and has for quite some time, but I'm hoping to find another cause for the terrible low speed running I've finally got round to getting data scan connected and i'm just learning how to use it. in my previous thread about goodwood breakfast, and following on from some thread revivals and mention of calendars......... twice now I've been involved in photoshoots for club calenders where each region of the club was going to get a page, but nothing ever came of it once we drove round Winchester taking photos at various locations (from memory some of them were private land from the speed we drove in , photo'd and drove out) not sure who had the photos Bigh or Marco ? so the other time we turned up at a goodwood breakfast club ,back when they were less popular and about 10 of us got to park up at supercar sunday, but not so we could get a good photo. …
