Does anyone know the part numbers of RHD wing mirror glasses? Heated and non-heated number will be great if anyone has them. Joel.

Hey everyone, in preparation for a Z cruise I plan to attend next weekend, I thought I try to clean and detail my engine bay before the event on Sunday the 26th of October. I am pretty happy with the end result and the engine bay is finally looking nice and clean as well as a little shinier too:cool2:. I did have plans to clean my undercarriage and wheel wells too but I just didn't have time today to get all that done along with the engine bay clean. I plan to clean the interior and wash the exterior of the car the day before the event, so my Z can look its best on the day. I used Megiaurs Super degreaser diluted at a 4:1 ratio (heavy duty solution) to clean and degr…

I didn't start a for sale thread as I'm still not 100% sure I'm going to sell but I am considering selling my lwb TT manual. Its been my project for the past 5 years. Its had a lot of work done & money spent in that time & has some nice bits on it, meister coilovers, one piece prop, split rims, custom rear lights, stillen lip, new interior from Mondo, Altia door sills just too much to mention. Had a new cambelt & full service with jimmer last month, 11 months mot. Only things that need doing are a bit of paint on the roof & boot lid, possibly a new flywheel soon & the ride is harsh as it's all poly bushed. If I decide to keep it all that will be sorted…

Came to start my zed after sitting for around 3 weeks and sadly the battery is completely flat. The car is no longer my daily or kept where I live so I don't get a chance to start and drive it as often as I should however I have a manual conversion booked for next Friday and will be driving a few hundred miles to get there so was thinking the best solution may be just disconnect the battery and have it hooked up to a trickle charger? I was looking at this as I can't really spare much cash at the moment: https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-accessories/winter-essentials/winter-maintenance/battery-chargers/?549778951&0&cc5_145 Would this do the jo…

  7. Hi guys How do you remove the manual winding nob from a seat? I’d expect the nob to have a cover that pops off but, although I’m not attacking it very hard, this doesn’t seem to be the case. Cheers, Chris. P.S. Si, there’s better ways to earn a living than retriming seats for the 300zx. What a ball ache, there must be at least 100 clips per seat. :cursing:

The weather for Wigan at the moment looks good enough to make a trip north to Wigan this saturday to have a play at Three Sisters . The track is so small and tight that it doesnt really suit my 300Zx but that doesnt stop me having fun. Thats what I built the car for in the first place.:biggrin:

Hi all, I have a rattle, noticeable when moving/squeezing either coolant pipes (see vid). So recently: *Car on ramps at the front so radiator cap is the highest point *Leaking radiator removed *Used radiator fitted, new coolant pipes also fitted *Filled with bluecol 2y stuff, 50//50 mix *Left to sit for a day, topped up, ran till at operating temperature with heaters on full blast and nice and hot *Re-topped up *Few days later out to get it test-ran, came back and still had air bubbling in the system as I could heat it gurgling (or water boiling.. ) in the engine itself (not the rad) *Instantly get it up on ramps again, no overheat…

  10. First up, did you know the glass or mirror comes out of the back plate with ease, carefully just push out. So we end up with the door mirror apart and here we have my newly acquired blue tinted ones amongst my spares, sure you can spot which are which !! It became clear a little later in the day but from the pic below notice the left carcass is much thinner, so thin in fact it was weak, there was a tiny bit missing and pretty much crumbling away which led me to doing this 'job'. So with the glass out you can polish right up to the edges, I used G3 paste. Here they are nice and clean . …

Currently somewhere up over northern England heading to Reykjavik to catch a connecting flight to Cleveland in Ohio. I'm there to pick up a fairly new 370z Nismo owned by the president of the Z Car Club Association of America. Tomorrow will be the long drive down to Atlanta for this year's ZCon and ZNationals double event which should be HUGE. Sadly, Yama San, chief designer of our beloved Z32 who I met at last year's event in Austin has had to pull out, but there's plenty more awesomeness. Nissan have shipped over the only road going version of its awesome R390, a car I saw at Nissan's Heritage Museum near Tokyo back in March. I also belive the GTP ZX-Turbo is also …

I have had a look and the Z centre is selling them fro £180. just wondered if there was any other outlet?

Morning all, I thought I'd better come on here and address various concerns regarding this GB. It's now a little over 12 months since the originally planned start date and two jobs have been completed - Mogsy's and Jaikai's. I should've been at the end of this, but I'm clearly not. I'm not going out of business (although it has been touch and go at times) and I'm certainly not doing a runner with anyone's money. It's been a VERY rough 6 months or so personally and work has suffered massively in that time. I was already behind with the GB, so this just throws everything even further out. For that, I can only apologise and extend the following offer: If anyon…

Hi guys, The following are my opinions, I do not wish to debate them. Been thinking about this for a while and have come to a conclusion. I wish to tender my resignation as joint Regional Events Organiser for South Central. There are a few reasons for this, not least the fact that I’ve organised no meets this year and generally only one successful one for the last few years. This isn’t enough to justify the position. Equally the general apathy in the club has taken its toll and I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s a fruitless task. The club itself in my eyes isn’t doing very well, this is disappointing and I can’t really pin point or fault a specific thing…

Hey! I've got RWYB booked at Santapod at the weekend and have just bought a shift light. I was hoping one of you guys have installed one of these before because the instructions don't give me confidence that it will work and I'm going to try installing it one evening this week. Install instructions are here: http://omextechnology.co.uk/OMSLS.pdf It's the 'coil positive' and 'coil negative' I'm concerned about. My plan is to connect the 'coil positive' to a 12v feed and the 'coil negative' to pin 7 on the ECU. Turbo Timer is connected to pin 7 and displays revs (although not matching the rev gauge) so I know that works. Any (helpful ) idea…

After pulling out my interior I noticed there was a very blue patch of carpet under the rear bench. It got me thinking if the carpet was ment to be this colour and if 25 years and 100k miles plus had turned them black. I’ve attached a picture of the blue patch, do you think the carpet should be this colour? Also what’s the best was to go about cleaning the carpet? Cheers, Chris

My tailgate has got a rusty corner which I should get something done about. Ideally this would involve removing / replacing the rear window. I've heard some horror stories but then Si says he's done it 3 times.
