Hi, your car looked very nice indeed.I was in the white one.

well its been 2 weeks since i sold my z,and atleast another 4 before i pick up my new one,never did i think i would miss not driving a car so much. anyone else felt this way before?

Ok so we had a party last night, got very very drunk and let's just say I won't be driving today, so I decided to try and fit my Koyo Rad, and do a couple of other jobs, like remove my aircon rad etc. Aircon rad removed, inlet pipes removed, water pipes removed, I still can't get the damn radiator to go in!!!! It gets stuck constantly. I could maybe just force it in, but I don't want to bend all the fins and potentially make it leak, anyone got any tips on fitting one of these bloody things?

anybody got a wiring diagram of the ignition ? I had one last time I fitted an alarm to the zed but seem to have lost it

I had a twin turbo on classic insurance for just over a year and because aim breaking my car and have tried to transfer insurance to may convertible (300zx) na they won't do this on classic and have lost my 7yrs no claims on my tt so effectively start again they are quoting me over £2000 what a f..ing rip off time to get rid of my z sme think ...

wiring in my avcr and I'm on the last wire at the ecu using the twin turbo .net write up and somethings wrong. On avcr grey wire goes to pin 38 throttle which is White. On my car pin 38 is orange with a grey tracer, anyone got one wired in that would mind taking a look for Me or me calling them? Thanks Craig

Hi all, I have a problem with my mileometer which stopped working. I have had the milometer taken out and cleaned but it still does not work. I cannot seem to find anyone that has one new or old - HELP!! Does anyone know where I can get one??? Thanks very much

morning! the last time i took the zx out i had a squeaky brake so found an empty piece of road n hit the brakes reasonably hard just to see if i could get rid of the squeak, after doing this my steering felt very odd, wether it is linked i dnt know but it was a quite a fight with the steering to get it home, i have gone out this morning to have a look, started the car and turned the steering to full lock each way a couple of times, when doing so there is a point where it goes very tight to the left and then when i rotate to the right it does it again, but then the rest of the rotation is smooth? hope that makes sence ! cheers guys!!

ok, so im trying to polish a set of water pipes that i took of my red zed, ive got all the blemishes off them and the dirt and they do look nice and shiny, yet they lack that mirror finish, im down to 1200grit wet dry sand paper, do i need to go higher grade? like 1800 or 2000grit or something? its shiny but dull if that makes sense? there is no mirror finish. Just wondering how people get there stuff so it gleams with a surface to comb your hair on.

Got my new Alloys today so what colour calipers shall i go for I want them to stand out a little now. The normal red with white writing Or a nice yellow with black writing inc pipes and bolts?? Im looking to do them tomorrow if the weather is nice :)

Quick question, has anyone removed the ABS on there zed?? if so has it caused any problems? Also can anyone confirm that the rear brake pipes enter into the rear floor section for the abs pump only?? or is there another reason they are tucked up behind rear subframe?? cheers in advance

when aiming for over 500hp does the MAF need to be changed or upgraded, especially for mapping.... and i need FACT rather than 'i guess so' just something smithy said earlier id like to question and solve. thanks in advance.

why are the horn son zeds so crap and tempremental, mine was shagged last mot so it was replaced no its buggered again, theyre always bad sounding and pathetic, but why do they break, it now doesnt make a sound, i assume its teh actual horn? not a dodgy switch? how can i check whats common etc.....

Thanks alot mate received the clutch now :) What a great forum as i found a Exedy clutch for sale in Scotland i didnt fancy paying the guy xxx amount and then 25 quid postage with no receipt of it or record (no paypal) Therefore Del was kind enough to go and pick it up for me and send it onto with at only £11 postage :) Top job cheers mate just gotta get it fitted now my zed is now off the road in the garage watch my posts. Hi Folks, So for the last year, I have been convinced that I was going for the much loved white for the colour change on a SWB slicktop, from gunmetal grey, with a black roof and engine bay. I had set my sights on Ford Frozen White. I have already done the engine bay and roof Toyota Satin Metallic, and I reckon it looks ok. The intent was to keep the car standard (ish) and put a dark tint on the rear and rear quarter glass to match the roof, and maybe subtle carbon wrap on the roof rails, and / or the window guides on the doors (between the front and rear side windows). Right, haven't managed to get a pic yet, but in this diagram you can see what I'm talking about. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=26120 Top right, straight across to the left of the number 19 against the wing. It's a rectangular box bolted to the wing, about 5cm by 10cm has an electrical plug going into the underneath as well as a rubber pipe, which has split on mine and is causing a boost leak. Any idea what it is and where I can get a replacement pipe? Any help is greatly appreciated!

is it laqourable like to make it nice and glossy like wet carbon panels?

Just fitted 9 j 18 " wheels to the front with a 25mm spacer as well the wheels are 9x18 +et 35 with a 235x40 tyre .They fit nice fill the arches no rubbing either stock arches .Will post pictures soon.:cool3:
