  3. Howdy folks, I'm getting fedup scraping over speed bumps despite going diagonal and avoiding braking into them to prevent front end dipping. My z32 has a strosek replica front bumper on it which is the culprit. Its not lowered but there is very little clearance under that bumper. Suspension doesn't seem to be sagging too bad, do you think just adding new shocks and springs would help avoid scraping everywhere I go? What suspension setups have others with the same kit got, and do they have the same problem? I think I remember reading about another type of car being raised by fabricating a spacer to sit at the strut mount, anyone ever heard of or used these? …

  5. My Z has very fancy wheel nuts but unfortunately no tool to remove them lol. Does anyone know where I can get a tool to remove them? btw they are 10 sided, a normal spline drive is 12. Or if someone has the same, would I be able to borrow the tool to remove mine and fit some different ones?

Took my Z to be MOT'd today after being garaged for a year and a half and passed with only one advisory on a slightly binding caliper from it not being used! I even told the tester I wasn't hopefull as its now in for rear sill renovation and to fit a fuel tank and straps. Not bad for a UK spec, felt a bit wobbly at speed though for part of the journey

Hi Guys, I have been checking my spark plugs today and coil packs. I managed to do 4 only I only cleaned them - might get round to doing the other 2 tomorrow. On 1 spark plug - on the rim - not on thread or on the spark part that is deep into the engine I found oil.. or I believe it is very stick stuff not like normal oil lose. Is that a concern? Also on the coil packs when taken out I looked down them I noticed some had springs and some did not? Why is this? Hopefully my idle control valve will be here tomoz.

  15. Hi, I'm just toying with photoshop to deicide where to go next with my zed. I think I'm going to stick with veilside skirts as I originally planned. I've already bought Veilside C2's, but having seen the one's on Jay's car I think they would work better. I can't for the life of me work out which ones they are. I know they are smoothed into the strostek sides, so is that where the indent to the rear comes from (because the vent on the C1's is different) and so I'll need to ask the body shop to get their tools on my C2's and arches or is there another set of veilsides I'm missing? Hope Jay doesn't mind me using a pic of his car to demonstrate. and this…

Well, hopefully my new engine arrives next week so i can crack on and get my car on the road. so before it goes in, i have a few bits to change. ive got all the shiny stuff to take off my old engine to put on the new one. But while the engine is out i want to do a bit of tidying. now im stuck for getting the front bumper off unless i take both wings off. so any deletes with parts hidden behind the wings / front bumper the bits are going to have to stay, so anyway a few questions does anyone have a diagram for the new vac pipe route once ive deleted things? Also, does anyone make the blanking off plates for the plenum once ive removed the EGR? Also, wh…

Today, Mikey, Rose and I took two zeds to Glasgow and came back with 3. Rose bought SandyZ's yellow and black 300ZX. We took quite a few cameras, plus phones, so here's a couple of pictures to start off with, when the videos are uploaded to YouTube, I'll post the links here! :D Manual conversion this week, then a few simple mechanical fixes like skimming the brake discs etc. Then you guys will start to see what Rose does to cars. Mikey on the way up: Shell station when we picked the car up: Mini Z meet in a Glasgow Scrap Yard: The Mad Z Breaker!: One way to take an exhaust off!: When we got home from the Epic road trip:
