Right, Roses car always did this, so it's not the auto to manual conversion that has caused it, however we did think it would go away when we did the manual conversion, it hasn't! Every time you come to a complete stop, JUST before you do so, it f***ing 'bongs' at you! WTF is it? We've checked clutch, brake, steering and windscreen washer levels, all fine, anyone else got any ideas?

Having been reading up, its seems there are a few guys who need their wheels refurbishing. OK if you single part rims but a problem if you have 3 piece split rims. My wheels are a very rare set of 18" Gewalt 3 peice split rims. I found that i was losing air from one of my rims, after getting the tyre checked it was leaking from the joint between rims. 1. Remove all the securing bolts, mine were 10mm nuts and 9mm torx style bolts. Total of 34 bolts and 34 nuts each wheel, so 4 x wheels= 136 bolts to undo. 2. Separate the outer wheel face from the rim. i did this using a rubber mallet from the back. 3. Now split the rims, mine was held together with a clear silico…

Hi Guys, I was wondering whether its possible to modify the gear stick on an Auto. Is there a kit you can buy or is it lots of work and do it yourself. I dont like the standard gear stick in my TT. 1. Its too high up. 2. I want it the same height as the centre are rest/console. Can it be done? Does anyone know how or where I can go to get it done. Many thanks

Lastnight I stripped my boot out to start tidying up my audio (get rid of the horrible sub box and hide the amps and cables, install new carpet etc) However, when I lifted the space saver wheel out the floor is all rusty. I gave it a good tap in several places and it all seems sound. It dosnt look pleasent and wiped my hand over left my hands orange! What do you guys recommend doing with it? Thanks, Dan

Been looking for a flypress for a while and final got one. For people who dont know these are used to bend and punch holes in sheet metal amoung other uses. Ordered some angle iron last week and made and stand for it now ready to rock an roll. Just start my first job for my new press. I have to make 5 floor panels 1200mm x 760 for the local church baptism pool. The pool is sunken into the floor and when not in use is covered with these floor panels. The old ones were made of wood and to heavy for the people to lift in and out so im making some light weight ones out of aluminum. Got a few more jobs lined up and then i might start making…

Well, got my ARC intercoolers through today thanks to Peter (Nend) Started to get it stripped down today - pic of the stock intercooler in place: Couple of shots of the stock v ARC intercooler: One thing I have found out is that one of the outlets is angled on the ARC intercooler as opposed to the straight outlet on the stock cooler - this means I am going to need to get some straight coupling pipes to fit the new ARC cooler to the stock hardpipes on the outlet side. ARC intercooler in place: The main thing that amazed me was how restrictive the stock core is compared to the ARC core - I took a couple of pics but looking at…
