sorry this has probably been asked loads of times before, but which downpipes fit an auto? (TT)

 

all the ones i've looked at are for manual only, i have a powerflow system at the moment but i want to change to my single exit but the power flow downpipes and cat back are all part of one system.

 

any ideas?

 

ill swap my power flow system for a good set of after market auto downpipes lol.

They should all fit Auto and Manual.

 

As far as I can tell the reason the ones on ebay list for manual only is crappy quality control issues have lead to some not fitting properly on Auto's where the box is a little wider, so sellers list as manual only.

 

Many have fitted those listed for Manual only, on their auto equipped Z's. Some have had issues, but then I had issus fitting them on my manual and had to bend them to get them fit. Japspeed, and similar are great value, but shoddy quality control.

japspeed are bad quality? their the ones i wanted, thanks i might try to get the system modified to fit the single exit cat back but id rather a new set of downpipes any recommendations?

Their quality ain't too bad, however their quality control is something else.

By that dave means that sometimes they will fit and sometimes they will not unless you can manipulate a wee bit, in short they should fit yours, but at least expect now to put a bit extra effort into making them fit.

Fingers crossed and it appears luck of the draw, they may just wap straight on.

I,ve had a set of Japspeed on mine for a good few years now without any probs , i fitted them when it was an auto , i,ve just converted to manual and had no probs with clearance or fit . HTH

I got a complete Japspeed system for my Auto, the down pipes dont fit, not even close. The rest of the system from the cats back bolted straight on no probs. Top quality system though. Japspeed's website says that the down pipes/decats dont fit the auto, but as smithy said, it seems to be luck of the draw cause a few on here have fitted them to auto's with no issues.

sounds like alot more trouble then its worth might just keep the twin for now.
