Has anyone had any negative effects from doing this. I have removed my PRVR & AIV systems & am thinking of removing the CC as I need to remove the front bumper for painting & to install my ARC intercoolers from Nend. The CC probably gives me the most concerns out of all deletes for vapour loss reasons. Any comments appreciated :detective:

Hi Guys, Any of you know if there is a garage that knows about these cars in the Maidstone area. I have a garage that I use and they are good but I am not sure they know these cars. I am waiting till Tuesday for an Idle control valve that I will fit but if that does not sort it I need a garage to take a look. Cheers

im going to be dropping the car by around 25 to 30mm at the front, its been suggested that i could do with adjustable front camber arms as it will throw the front camber out. dta used to do a packer kit but obviously they are now out of buisness. anyone got any suggestions cos £150 for cheap adjustables is a bit steep considering how small the drop is.

We went to Silverstone on Saturday and had a great day. Pete came and helped me tinker with the car as needed and he even had a session as passenger in the afternoon :) The car ran really well with just a couple of teething problems which were sorted on the day. I was running with standard road tyres and didn't bother putting the toyo 888 on as I wasn't looking to push at 100% this time around and anyway they are pretty crap in the wet lol. Here's a link to my very first session of the day and I will upload a couple of wet laps a bit later :)

Ok guys, just went to move the car and the starter motor is making clicking sounds coupled with ignition lights going out when it would be cranking. Sounds to me like the battery is dead/flat. First of, does anyone know the correct battery for the Z, and were the cheapest place to buy a reasonable one is for worst case scenario ? No-one I know nearby has a charger I can borrow, so looks like I am going to have to spend again :( What do I need to look for to ensure I get one man enough for the correct battery ?

In a moment of (what I thought was) clever thinking, I removed the green relays out of the small fusebox under the bonnet whilst I was on holiday and the Z was sat outside trying not to get stolen... lol :sweatdrop: Anyway I went to start it up earlier and couldn't for the life of me think why it wouldn't fire up, I used the throttle a bit as I was trying to start it before realising what was wrong lol :w00t: So I refitted the missing fuses after I struggled to remember where I'd put them, and the car started after a bit but is now running poor and sounds like a 3 cylinder :blushing: would I have flooded it maybe and is there a solution for this sort of stupidit…

Hi boffins !!! I have spoken with Groover about being offered a new V8 engin. I am considering doing the conversion but have little mechanical knowlege. But I want to do this as a project. My zed has a good working engin and gearbox on a 1994 UK manual TT with good turbos and uprated injectors to 555. (327 on rolling road) I may as well sell these as I cant have two engins in same car.......(mmmmm.. could I ) nope, not worth considering..lol. I am getting the full speck on the engin (no gearbox with V8) and will look at cost before I finally make a decision. Is there anyone in the South of England who has done this and who may be available for a chat please…

can I make a suggestion twice now you have wasted my time by wanting to buy something you obviously cannot afford. In future may I suggest you make sure you have money on paypal before buying, because disappearing for weeks at a time or using the excuse that you didn't get to the bank in time is just rubbish. OK so lets update. Car went to garage had reconditioned gearbox fitted. I've had the throttle bodies cleaned Ive had the connector to the idle control valve changed over to spade connectors as mine was very green indeed.. It still tries to stall sometime not as much as it did originally. - Before I could not even drive the car down the road so there is massive improvement. I can at least take her out. Took here on a 20 mile trip. Stalled once when breaking gently behind cars at lights. Then going about 45 - 50 mph just cut out. Bit blooming dodgy in the wet. Pulled over - put her in P and started again. Now I do get the POWER light come …

made a start on fitting me coilovers but could do with couple bits of advise, firstly do i need to use the upper plate off the old front suspension for the new ones? 2nd despite fitting the rear shocks and matching the same distance on the coilovers the drivers rear is about the right height but the passengers rear is right up in the arch and rubbing the wheels! wound it up and it doesnt make that much difference! thought they would both be the same distance apart if you know what i mean!:confused1: dan.:sweatdrop:
