Well all back together, but on wrestling with the plenum, i chipped the paint on the rocker cover  Will have to mask everything off and prep and repaint that part, i cant be arsed to take it all off again :glare: All back together with new injector loom on, still got to finish the throttle cover project, but theres plenty of time for that when the engine is in the car. Need a few new hoses here and there with some new clips to finish the look.

I have got two Nissan replacement injector looms, three connectors on each one, but only two wires coming from them, where do they connect to on the old loom, I can't see where they go. Have looked in FAQ with no luck, can someone point me to a fitting guide. cheers Paul

I've decided that it is going to be at least 6 months till i get my zed back on the road, and i was wondering what you guys suggest to do before it goes off the road. For example, i remember reading that someone suggested filling your tank up with petrol so that evaporation doesnt occur leaving condensed water all around the tank. Ive also disconnected the battery to save that going dead. What else would you guys recommend??

Well I drove the car to the mechanics this morning, via the petrol station to make sure it had enough in it for the MOT. I thought I'd test out the dump valve and exhaust and now the throttle is alligned properly etc. WOW that car is powerful now. 2nd gear at around 20mph, no clutch movement, just foot down, spools up a little, then BOOM wheels spin like crazy and the car snakes up the road! I can't wait to get it back, although it might kill me :helpsmilie: Granted it's a little greasy out there this morning, but it WOW! Looks like will get her back either tomorrow or Wednesday, just depends how much rust is actually behind the sills for him to repair before he…

have no idea about injectors other than the fact they flow more fuel, now which is the better option 555cc injectors or 740cc and why. car will be running supporting mods to run upto 550hp. but want to aim more in the region of 510-520ish with live mapping. Just need help on which of the two larger injectors i'm going to need and why.

hi all i was reading a very interesting article in classic car mag at work it is the jun 2011 edition.the topic was about E10 fuel wich is at your local pumps already but is about to change and instead of having 5% ethanol in it it will be being increased to 10%. the main problem with the addition of ethanol is the water absorbtion wich causes higher combustion gas temperatures leaves water residue in the bores causing washing of the bores and premature wear as well as having the affecct of weakoning the mixture.that is just with 5% what the effects will be with10% no one knows yet.we are having lots of problems at work at present with fuel growing bacteria in t…

Well after seeing these on eBay then mentioned on here a few times last week I decided to buy 1 of the keys from eBay and I eagerly awaited its arrival ! Well I got a surprise and a half today! Whilsed the wifey was using my pc she accidently (so she says) logged into my eBay account and saw my new purchase and quickly came down stairs for a wee confession. Looks like after hearing me talk about it a few months ago she purchased two key's and the watch over a month ago for a surprise! So I now have 3 keys and a new zed watch ! Cool or what !

i,d just like to say a big thanks to all at zedworld for the service they provide. on friday they picked my zed up from home and gave the car a thorough going over checking all the suspension and steering/tracking. they then delivered it back to my home . As nothing needed replacing or adjusting the bill came to £0 . Top people and a credit to the club and zed community. many thanks Andy

Bloody neighbours kid has just rode his bike into the front of my car :cursing: he had those stupid stunt pegs on the back that jammed into the intercooler vent at the front & scratched all the paintwork! I only saw him do it as I was up a tree on a ladder in my garden cutting it back - saw him bounce off it. We have a parking courtyard out the back & the kids are just constantly riding around - the mum said she keeps telling them not to get close to the cars - FFS, do a bit more than just telling them if you keep having to warn them! To be fair the dad has said he will pay for it but just get them down the park!! There is a purpose built one f…
