Hi guys, took the car for a drive tonight and coming round the last corner to drive up my road and suddenly the power steering just became none existent. Pulled up on the drive and fluid was dripping all over the drive, looked down the road and sure enough there's a trail of fluid leading from where it went all the way to the car. As it was going dark I havnt had chance to to investigate other than a quick look with a torch around the power steering pump, and its covered in fluid. There was no whining or noise from the pump before this happened but I think there might have been a small leak coming from somewhere. I suppose this isn't an easy question to answer on…

Today I took the front bumper off as there was a few jobs I wanted to do, first of which was to sack off all the unneccessary junk and extra weight that wasn't required. Fog lights came out as I've got carbon fog light ducts, removed the support bar, removed the intercoolers as I've got ARC ones fitted now, due to the intercooler upgrade I wanted to make sure there was maximum airflow both sides of the intercoolers, so removed the washer bottle - I'll be relocating a small one elsewhere, headlight washer stuff, overflow tank, carbon canister etc. Picture afterwards: much less clutter. plenty of room behind intercooler, fitted my…

I had a quick search and couldn't find anything to show LWB TT offset vs SWB TT offset? a few questions: - Are the offsets front and rear the same for a SWB TT as they are for a LWB TT? - also would this set of Enkei's that I picked up recently, fit stock SWB TT arches? sizes are as follows: FRONT = 18" x 9" (ET +17) 5x114.3 tyres: 225/40 REAR = 18" x 10" (ET +23) 5x114.3 tyres: 255/30 *also, I picked up a pair of SSR's in Japan, how far outside the rear arches would they sit and would the inner clear the shocks?: REAR = 18" x 11.5" (ET +16) 5x114.3 tyres: 295/30 (stretched) many th…

sat down in the canteen today, when someone came in and says "have u seen all that oil under your car". i go out to investigate and cant open car by remote due to taking it appart and putting batterys back the wrong way, so the alarms blaring when i open the door with key. i see red stuff all over the road, asking someone wot the red stuff could be, i was told it was steering fluid which made sense as the mess was rite above the where that was. i go back again and they are all pissing em selfs, turns out someone chucked ribena on the road under the car.

Hey peeps, How can I tell what injectors are fitted, where do I get bigger ones if I need them, and how do I fit them? Or have I got it wrong, it sounds like pinking when I turn the boost up to around 15psi and give it a boot full. Cheers:wacko:

Ok my car has just flown through its mot, but, I having looked under the car myself I feel that the sills may have to be done next year. Whats the most cost effective way? Can patterned ones be purchased? or is it a case of just having a body shop manufacture them? Thanks, Dan

Ok, this has been playing on my mind for a while now, everytime I take my Z out I cant help myself but smile when it turns peoples heads and I always check it out in shop windows etc, sad I know! The Z32 imo has aged very well when compared to some other sports cars, however, I saw a guy on the way home from work polishing his "Mint" Ford Capri and I thought to myself that car looks really old fashioned. Now, is it just me being biased because i have a Z or do they too look really old fashioned now too? If not, do you they may soon date very quickly, I still think they look better than z33`s but again, am I biased? I just have this horrible feeling that…

just figuring out if and when I ever get to rebuild my car, where have people taken extra wiring though the bulkhead? I'm thinking through the heater matrix grommet for the new gauges and for the boost controller through the pass side wing. What have you guys done?

Wide body was registered as LBP 80Y ...just viewed it and for reference no boost, top end knock, rear inner sills rot, skirts cracked away from body and previously welded inner front wing it starts and runs but lumpy tick over and knock gets louder as it warms up

Hi there everyone, Need your help as I'm not too sure if the following will work. My zed has the blue interior plastics, in fact everything inside is blue at the moment LOL. I've got a leather trim set in light grey so it will look very similar to Apache's old SWB. My question is what colour to do the seats. Do I go down the same route as he did and colour-code the blue and grey leather or do you think black leather will work? In short the seats Baz has for sale. Cheers all, Rob

First off, I love my car again, iv fixed almost everything that made me hate it ;) anyway, the pump failed at the bdc under epic load :( It's a TT, manual, in an NA shell (ie no hicass or hicas pump etc) the TT engine was/is running an NA powersteering pump, it's dead. Iv got a TT powersteering pump, will it work? There are 3 pipes coming off it? Does one of them need blanking off or recirculating etc? Thanks
