finally getting round to changing these, turns out the drivers side one has a little play in the ball joint on the wheel end of the arm as well as the rack end, but my local parts dealer can't get hold of them. I would of thought they would come with the arms but no joy. Haven't tried Nissan yet, but was just wondering if anyone knows of a place?

Just fitted 2 new push fit conectors over my old type, tyre valve r12 gas connectors .A bit of gas came out doing this ,air con hasent worked for 2 years so i take it needs a regas .after searching its seems some filling up with the new r134a gas no problems without changing seals etc .Some say it needs other mods to run the new gas diffrent oil, higher running pressure etc.also my air con clutch thing is permantly out what does this mean ,does it do this when its gas low on gas .Is refill point top or bottom connector thanks taff.

It looked stunning as I drove past with my silver bmw e36 m sports coupe, I had to come over and have a look it was in silver with 18's 5 spoke Anterea alloys with blue brake calipers, it was parked in front of the Bull pub on London road any one from here? I think there is only one or two in bedford that I've seen.

When out driving last week, i gave it a bit of abuse! Out in the country, i popped it sideways out of a side road. (Note, this was a priavte countryside, and you could see for miles with nobody around). Then BANG! It threw me the other way trying to get me in the bush on the other side of the road. I controlled it, then got out to inspect. A bit of tyre made a bid for freedom! Now on a space saver!

I wasn't a fan of the bumpers that were on my car. 99 front, which i know is popular and i do like it, but to me, when i think of a zed, i think of a standard one, ie 89 spec. That goes for the spoiler too. So the front bumper... The 89 bumper isn't properly fitted, but its a bit damaged, so i planned for it to be sorted with the respray i was getting! It was from Niko's car..

I'm new to the ZX300 although I've had one - bought Feb. 2008, drove 43 miles in it, garaged ever since due to illness - for over 3 years. I bought it cheap on Ebay because the boot spoiler had rotted away. I also suspect it's been clocked because the leather seat is well-worn but it's showing 55000 k's on the clock. Anyway, it's passed it's last 2 MoT's no problem and now I'm better, I'm starting the refurbishment process. To start, can anyone tell me the best place to get a new boot spoiler. Thanks. dicey.

General question, but whats the minimum height i need to get the car in the air to be able to get the engine and gearbox out by dropping the front sub frame. Thinking of doing it this way this time to save time and also gain the experience from doing it in this manner. I've always taken the gearbox off first and then the engine. and although i find it better when working on my own. id really like to attempt my engine and gearbox change by dropping the front sub frame so i can attach the gearbox to the engine while its out and lower it in, in one go to save the hassle of trying to raise a gearbox off the floor and mount it with the engine.

As the title states, is £50 a good price foor a hub and wheel bearing?? But more importantly to save money and effort - is it possible to just replace a hub Pin on its own??

Hi All, I'm looking at buying Sky89's NA 300zx. Had a look last night, it's a great car but does need some work doing to it. The main thing at the moment is that it needs a new cambelt. I'm looking for recommendations for a decent mechanic to do this for me, along with general servicing. I live near Chelmsford in Essex. Would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. Cheers, Colin

Does anyone know where I can get a decent fitting car cover for the z, one that wont flap about in the wind too. My last one used to be half off the car when I got home after work Another question: If I bought a koyo rad, do I need a certain one or do I have to buy a seperate uprated oil cooler as I have an auto?
