Has anyone else noticed there are 2 types of oem bumpers. you know where the bumper joins the wheel arch. you have the line that goes along the arch then onto the bumper. well some are really flared and some not much so. Mine are the smoothed type and hollandrob81 zed was the flared type?? I will see if i can find some pics.

Hi all, My zed already had a sparco steering wheel fitted when i bought it and the car horn was a button on the dash. I dont want this button anymore and would like to connect them to the buttons on my steering wheel. How can this be done? Can i buy a kit? Im missing some parts like the Hicas sensor and clock spring that ive recently got from a breaker. But with the boss i have at the moment its not possible to fit. Is there a different boss maybe? Thanks Dan

Well finally went up to the garage were my zed has been for the last 2.5years ( i have only owned it for a short time ), Was a bit worried that i had bought this and it would need major work but it started up first turn of the key!!! Well impressed, first time its been started in the 2.5years its been sat. Now my questions, The stock oil pressure gauge - what should this sit at when up to temp? Also what should rpm should it be at idle? Sat on the 1k mark pretty smooth after a minute or 2. Obviously after sitting for so long there was a bit of a tick from the top end, Now should i just change the oil or should i put a flush through it also?? Cheers in advance.

I have now cut away my rear arches and now i have big holes. The rear arches were starting to blister so i thought oh ohhhhh here we go all the sills will be on the way out. So i cut upto the curve in the metal to allow for my wheels and fatter tyres to be spaced for the new wide arches. I was surprised how little rust there was. It was pritty much just on the lip. So i got my Lamp to have a look down and all around the sills. Surprise surprise they was not a single bit of rust anywhere. it was just like a brand new car so i am well chuffed. Took out the rear panel inside the car and took out the seatbelts so i can see from the other side and again Nothing :danc…

Guys, Took the front bumper off my Z last week to fit filter and dump valves. I'm thinking I might as well replace the oil cooler and rad before fitting the new bumper. Any recommendations on either of the above ? Car is a manual TT import if that makes any difference

I have installed new splitfire coils. New serie 2 ptu and fuel pressure regulator and new stainless fuel filter (40 micron) I have a problem with misfire that starts at about 4000rpm at full throttle. The fuel pressure is at just above 3 kg/cm2 at idle. could the coils be bad?

Have decided to use the Z 'as a car' (instead of a big toy) this weekend and travel from Stafford to Bradford on Avon with my fiancee to see her parents. Instead of using the Citroen C1.The Journey is a 252 mile round trip, mainly M6/M5/M4. So it will be the longest journey I have done in her. I hope to do it on 1 tank which looks like it may be achievable, so I will TRY and take it easy. Wish me luck

Anybody know what size replacement dust boots I be needing for driftworks arms? Found a few people supplying them but driftworks are stocking them soon so they aren't keen on telling me what size I need for ordering elsewhere :innocent: but I've heard "we'll have them in next week" from other suppliers before and I'd like to at least be able to compare prices.
