  1. Sure most of you may have seen it on ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130659666439?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Never even knew it existed until the other day, a quick google search sent me to an ebay.com auction page from a while ago, it sold for $750! Was anyone on here lucky enough to win it?

Hi, as title really - it is tt import - it idles lovely and when driven through the gears normal driving it feels fine (maybe a very slight lumpyness) but under hard acceleration in first and 2nd is fine - 3rd, 4th and 5th as soon as the turbos kick in it misfires and pops through the exhaust very loud - it does get less after 4250 but still not smooth - it has an apexi filter and even in good weather is the same - if revved when standing its revs clear so only under load - i suppose a needle in a haystack but would be grateful of where to start - it has had full service, plenum pull, and cambelt service in october - any help much appreciated regards dave

I'll be doing a trackday at Cadwell Park on Sunday 18th March. It's quite reasonable at £149 for the day so wondered if anyone else fancy's it :) It really is a beautiful circuit and very technical to drive. I'm using it as a test for Time Attack as that's the first round in May so why not come and see what you can do a lap in and compare that to what they manage in a couple of months time :)

  8. well chuffed, got a brand new offside rear wheel bearing of a guy from ebay that had it as spare. having checked all the bushes which were fine, the only issue was the hicas ball joint, replaced it, but the wheel still moved side to side, dreading doing the bearing ive been searching for a complete hub. And from reading posts about how difficult it is and how long it takes. So while the other half is out for the day and the weather is sunny on the south coast. Off i go, removed brakes, disc, shoes, undid the drift shaft nut, which was easy. all the bushes, hub was off in less than an hour. Now the fun begins. the bearing and carrier are super tight. into a vice it…

after lowering my car and fitting differnt wheels and pissing about the settings are all a little off. one of the rears has a touch of positive camber i recon. but last time i had the alignment done im pretty sure it was set up as a z31. anyways what are the best compromise settings on the stock adjustments for the car, just for fast road use?

Like lots of Zeds I have seen out there, it is the little things that make the car look its age, One of the main culprits are the tired looking trims which eventually degrade and start to show the metal beneath. I just wanted to try this stuff (Plastidip) out on my window trim as a quick experiment to see if it was worth doing or to just bite the bullet and buy a load of rather expensive trim. So I cleared most of the old trim from the drivers side window trim with a stanley knife and nearly cut my fingers off to boot.... some of the old trim just pulls away easily, and some really doesn't want to move. I taped up the bits around the trim and…

Well, ive been driving my new zed all week! Ive used it for work too which is something ive never done before. It does look good, and it feels good when you can see it all day. EVERYBODY looks at it, i hadn't noticed it in my other zeds, but that might be due to the fact i didn't drive them much in the daytime. Now, my main concern, and it is a big one, is that its too slow for me. I thought it would be fast enough to keep me entertained, but it just isn't. I dont drive very fast, but like to feel the boost come in before i let off, and im just not getting the buzz. I does make a nice noise tho!! Now, its either a TT conversion, or i'll px it for a TT…

  25. Started by 300ZX DRIFTER,

My ZX is running much better after changing the maf and two o2 sensors. The only problem is when I step on it, around 4000rpm it will drop right down as if there is no gas. I then depress the pedal and she drives fine, as if I am driving a manual car. The engineer could not find a fault when he connected the ZX to his diagnostics device. He said maybe the spark plugs need changing. Any ideas?
