Have done a few more jobs this week.......got my crystal rear lights fitted, stripped my spare rear subframe and repainted it, pressed all the bushes etc out of the hub carriers ready for the polybushes, got my reverse light switch wired up,done some more waxoyling underneath, change the windscreen trim strips and given the old girl a wash and polish!......oh..and washed my Fairlady Z mats! Once I get my polybush kit for the rear I can get my subframe rebuilt with the new ajustable arms etc and get it bolted on, the on to the front end!.......once I start to rebuild the subframe i'll post up some more pic :) Must say a big thank you to Lee Dent of L.A Autos in S…

I am looking to go down the TT/NA rear route, was just wondering if anybody might be interested in my rear end (ooh err missus)... I'll be selling it, after asking around, looking for £150, seems reasonable to me due to the condition and new ball joints etc. Plus if you change yours for this, (not a massive job, it's just pretty heavy all together), it's an ideal time to change you probably coroded brake pipes (as I did)... Standard TT, without suspension/brakes, but all lovely and clean and painted, and new inner and outer HICAS ball joints, done less than 300 miles since fitted back on the car, would be handy for someone with crackered ball joints, plus it's all pa…

Hi bud, I remember in one of your previous threads you had moved your fuse box down to void left by the air con pump. Got any hints and tips on this? I had a go at this at the weekend and it was a pain in the ass lol. It wouldnt fit in the area below the headlight panel because of the power steering pipe (i suppose i could replace this with silicone?) and i couldnt figure out how to fit it in the space left by the air con pump. Mainly because of it awkward shape. Did you have to do any drilling to bolt it in? Thanks

  11. Started by pumagt,

Guys, been through the search and not found what I need to know. I have a Import TT 2+2 and have fitted 19" 9.0J and 9.5J with 35 offsets with 235/35/19 and 275/30/19 tyres. The front hubs have 15mm spacers and I have all the camber correcting parts so I am not concerned about camber problems and I am prepared to flare the rear arch lip in for clearance if neccessary. The rear tyre to arch gap is approx 50mm and the front about 40mm. I would like to know if I can fit lowering springs to my standard shocks which are spec'd at dropping the car about 1.0" (+-25mm). Anyone have a similar situation with positive or negative results? Appreciate any feed back. Coilovers…

hey guys, my girlfriends got a 98 1.6 corsa. she was told the EGR valve was knakered, so last weekend i blanked it off,now the check engine light is on all the time, to be expected. it idles like a dog... very rough, about 2000 ish, also it revs itself randomly, like the throttle sticks, and it revs up to 4000rpm. the engine seems very erratic and is very dangerous imo, i NEED to fix it tomoro, but i dont know where to start! any ideas? thanks guys

wonding if someone can help.... i should be getting zx-tts turbos, which are better then my current ones, now my zeds running a zedworld chip, boost jets @ around 12psi, now i know from the dyno day it ran very slightly lean, now surely bigger turbos means more air so it will run more lean...im not after power really, my questions are: can the map compensate fro the greater air flow? can the std injectors flow enough fuel? and can i run a mapped ecu without the jets? (lower the boost) or will it then run rich? ill be taking it to surrey rolling road at some point after its all fixed up, just trying to get an idea first thank…

been looking at these spacers they are not the full hub centric ones rather ones with a bore size and longer studs which is obvioulsy better than the simple slid eon type but not full on hibcentric. i prefer this idea for the pure reason that the actual bolts that are holding your wheels to the hub are easily inpected. no removing the wheel to check. my only reservation is the strength of the stud itself supplied with this kit. opinions please guys? should i use a differmt set of studs? the 15mm on these is a perfect size for me. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hubcentric-Wheel-Spacer-Kit-16mm-Nissan-200SX-240SX-S14-S15-5-x-114-PCD-66-1mm-/280838623315?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_…

Hi there all, Right then, I've put a UK cluster into my JDM and the speedo and odometer aren't working. The cluster came from my old UK car and were working fine, its only since connecting up into the Jap car it don't. I've tried the following and now have no idea where to go with it now. 1. Dry solder on the PCB. - There seemed a bit of crap solder there so I re-soldered it. 2. All the screws are in the back 3. Re-glued the EL dials and the needles aren't catching. There seems to be a weird green/yellow wire doing its own thing, pics below. Any help please guys, cheers.
